Hand is the official journal of the American Association for Hand Surgery. The American Association for Hand Surgery is a unique organization of hand surgery and therapy professionals and the focus of the American Association for Hand Surgery is primarily educational. The purpose of Hand is to provide an international peer reviewed journal which combines multidisciplinary expertise from surgical, medical, hand therapy and other health care professional specialties to advance the quality of care and health of patients with hand and upper extremity pathologies. Hand is a quarterly multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal which publishes original clinical and basic science articles, comprehensive critical reviews and unique case reports related to the management of pathologies in the hand and upper extremity. Studies which are published in Hand and involve human subjects must adhere to the ethical guidelines of the 1975 Declaration of Helsinki, have approval by an institutional ethics review board, and have appropriate patient informed consent. Studies which involve animal models must adhere to the animal care and use guidelines of the National Institutes of Health and/or the appropriate institutional review board.

The journal Health Care Analysis promotes debate about the fundamental rationale of all aspects of health systems and health care provision, including public policy and health; health-related education; health services organization and decision-making; health care professional practice. The journal is committed to the view that all aspects of health systems are interrelated, and presents and papers which make links between some of these areas. As a journal for everyone interested in philosophical issues in health care, Health Care Analysis seeks to support the conversation between philosophy and policy. This Journal publishes articles on all aspects of health economics: theoretical contributions, empirical studies and analyses of health policy from the economic perspective. Its scope includes the determinants of health and its definition and valuation, as well as the demand for and supply of health care; planning and market mechanisms; micro-economic evaluation of individual procedures and treatments; and evaluation of the performance of health care systems. Contributions should typically be original and innovative. As a rule, the Journal does not include routine applications of cost-effectiveness analysis, discrete choice experiments and costing analyses. Editorials are regular features, these should be concise and topical. Occasionally commissioned reviews are published and special issues bring together contributions on a single topic. Health Economics Letters facilitate rapid exchange of views on topical issues. The journal 'Metacognition and Learning' addresses various components of metacognition, such as metacognitive awareness, experiences, knowledge, and executive skills. Moreover, both general metacognition as well as domain-specific metacognitions in various task domains (mathematics, physics, reading, writing etc.) are considered. Papers may address fundamental theoretical issues, measurement issues regarding both quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as empirical studies about individual differences in metacognition, relations with other learner characteristics and learning strategies, developmental issues, the training of metacognition components in learning, and the teacher’s role in metacognition training. Submitted papers are judged on theoretical relevance, methodological thoroughness, and appeal to an international audience. The journal aims for a high academic standard with relevance to the field of educational practices. One restriction is that papers should pertain to the role of metacognition in learning situations. Self-regulation in clinical settings, such as coping with phobia or anxiety outside learning situations, is beyond the scope of the journal.

This journal publishes articles on virtually any subject of pure and applied mathematics, authored by scientists of all nationalities. The International Commission on Radiological Protection was founded in 1928 to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection. The ICRP provides recommendations and guidance on protection against the risks associated with ionising radiation, from artificial sources as widely used in medicine, general industry and nuclear enterprises, and from naturally occurring sources. These reports and recommendations are published six times each year on behalf of the ICRP as the journal Annals of the ICRP. The Journal of British and Irish Innovative Poetry centres on poetic writings appearing in Britain and
Ireland since the late 1950s. These varied poetic practices have been described as avant-garde,
underground, linguistically innovative, second-wave Modernist, neo-modernist, non-mainstream, the
British Poetry Revival, the parallel tradition, formally innovative, or experimental and which have
been produced in geographic clusters, such as the Cambridge School or the London School or
Morden Tower. However, we are also seeking to represent uncategorised and independent voices that
might fall through the cracks between different schools or clusters.
These posited movements were networked with a variety of formal and conceptual poetics,
including: concrete poetry; performance writing; hybrid writing; writing that explores the interplay
between orality and literacy; Black studies; diasporic approaches; translational and translingual
experiments; macaronic writing and hybridisations of the English language.
The Journal recognises that these terms, and the communities of writers and readers they refer to, are
always shifting, contested and sometimes controversial. As such, we are interested in a critical and
expansive understanding of ‘innovative’ poetic writing, both within and extending beyond the
bounds of the particular traditions outlined here.
