Iberoromania is the oldest journal in the German-speaking regions dealing specifically with the Ibero-Romance languages and literature of Europe and America. The journal provides a leading article, an issue focusing on current topics at regular intervals, followed by a review issue, in which a few selected new publications are covered in detail. In addition, the Iberoromania has become more open to Ibero-Romance languages and literature outside of Europe and America, above all in African.

Lithology and Mineral Resources (Litologiya i poleznye iskopaemye) reviews a wide range of problems related to the formation of sedimentary rocks and ores. Special attention is devoted to comparison of ancient sedimentary rock and ore formation with present-day processes, as the idea of actualism has always constituted one of the bases of the scientific philosophy of lithologists. A major part of the journal is devoted to comparative analysis of sedimentary processes on continents and in oceans, as well as the genetic aspects of the formation of sedimentary and hydrothermal-sedimentary mineral resources. The journal was founded in 1963 by Academician N. M. Strakhov. It will be of interest to lithologists, petrographers, geochemists, mineralogists, ore geologists and metallogenists, as well as to other geologists, ecologists, researchers of experimental and analytical laboratories, and graduate students.

Manuscrito is an international journal of philosophy publishing articles on a wide range of philosophical topics, especially in the history of philosophy, philosophy of language, philosophy of the formal sciences, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics, political philosophy and philosophy of mind. The journal does not privilege any particular philosophical approach. Its purpose is to reflect the progress of philosophy as a whole and to increase the exchange of ideas and arguments between different contemporary schools of thought. Manuscrito is mostly devoted to original articles dealing with relevant and important philosophical issues. However, there is also a section for reviews of selected books and for critical discussions of important articles. Since Manuscrito intends to promote international philosophical dialogue, submissions from all over the world are welcome. Articles must be written in either English, Spanish, Portuguese or French.

Affiliated with the Society for Machines and Mentality, the journal Minds and Machines fosters a tradition of criticism within the AI and philosophical communities on problems and issues of common concern. Its scope explicitly encompasses philosophical aspects of computer science. The journal affords an international forum for the discussion and debate of important and controversial issues concerning significant developments within its areas of editorial focus. It features special issues devoted to specific topics, critical responses to previously published pieces, and review essays discussing current problem situations.

Applied Vegetation Science is administratively linked to the Journal of Vegetation Science. It accepts original papers (including shorter ones), reviews, forum contributions and reports. It commissions reviews of selected books. Applied fields covered by the journal include human impact on vegetation, particularly eutrophication and global change, nature conservation, nature management, restoration of plant communities and habitats of threatened plant species, and the planning of semi-natural and urban landscapes. In addition it publishes book reviews and notices of scientific meetings.

CR: The New Centennial Review is devoted to comparative studies of the Americas that suggest possibilities for a different future. Centennial Review is published three times a year under the editorship of Scott Michaelsen (Department of English, Michigan State University) and David E. Johnson (Department of Comparative Literature, SUNY at Buffalo). The journal recognizes that the language of the Americas is translation, and that questions of translation, dialogue, and border crossings (linguistic, cultural, national, and the like) are necessary for rethinking the foundations and limits of the Americas. Journal articles address philosophically inflected interventions, provocations, and insurgencies that question the existing configuration of the Americas, as well as global and theoretical work with implications for the hemisphere.

ORL contains concise, original scientific papers of interest for both clinicians and researchers in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Contributions drawn from the basic sciences cover new knowledge on the anatomy, pathology, pathophysiology, immunology, and tumor biology of the head and neck and the auditory and vestibular system, the salivary glands, paranasal sinuses, and of the organs of the upper respiratory and digestive tract. The scope of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine is clinical sleep medicine. Its emphasis is the publication of papers with direct applicability and/or relevance to the clinical practice of sleep medicine. This includes some original manuscripts such as clinical trials as well as clinical reviews, clinical commentary and debate, medical economic/practice perspectives, case series and novel/interesting case reports. In addition, the JCSM will publish proceedings from conferences, workshops and symposia sponsored by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine or other organizations related to improving the practice of sleep medicine.

The Journal of Innovation and Knowledge (JIK) focuses on how we gain knowledge through innovation and how knowledge encourages new forms of innovation. Not all innovation leads to knowledge. Only enduring innovation that can be generalized across multiple fields creates theory and knowledge. JIK welcomes papers on innovations that improve the quality of knowledge or that can be used to develop knowledge. Journal of Molecular Evolution covers experimental and theoretical work aimed at deciphering features of molecular evolution and the processes bearing on these features, from the initial formation of macromolecular systems onward. Topics addressed include the evolution of informational macromolecules and their relation to more complex levels of biological organization, up to populations and taxa. This coverage accommodates such subfields as comparative structural and functional genomics, population genetics, the molecular evolution of development, the evolution of gene regulation and gene interaction networks, and in vitro evolution of DNA and RNA.

This journal provides a forum for original papers and reviews dealing with nutrition in normal and abnormal functions of the alimentary tract and its associated organs, including the salivary glands, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. Particular emphasis is on development and its relation to infant and childhood nutrition. Articles are also included on mechanistic issues involved in normal and abnormal physiology of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as on the use of special tools such as endoscopy, liver biopsy, ultrasound, and computed tomography in pediatric diagnosis. Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter covers advances in the whole of condensed matter physics including soft matter, physics of chemical processes, and method development. Papers may report experimental, theoretical or computational studies, and all published papers must contain fundamental condensed matter physics.

Monash Bioethics Review Monash Bioethics Review provides comprehensive coverage of traditional topics and emerging issues in bioethics. The Journal is especially concerned with empirically-informed philosophical bioethical analysis with policy relevance. Monash Bioethics Review also regularly publishes empirical studies providing explicit ethical analysis and/or with significant ethical or policy implications.  Produced by the Monash University Centre for Human Bioethics since 1981 (originally as Bioethics News), Monash Bioethics Review is the oldest peer reviewed bioethics journal based in Australia--and one of the oldest bioethics journals in the world.

Revista Española de Enfermedades Digestivas is the official journal of the Spanish Society of Digestive Pathology, the Spanish Society of Digestive Endoscopy and the Spanish Association of Digestive Ecography.The journal firstly appeared in 1918. It was founded by professors R. Luis Y Yagüe, Fidel Fernández and L. Urrutia. It has been publishing manuscripts monthly (12 numbers a year) without interruption since 1944 and it has been declared of public interest.Its main objective is to increase and update knowledge in the area of the gastrointestinal tract, specially in the fields of digestive surgery, digestive endoscopy, digestive ecography and internal medicine. Urban Ecosystems is an international journal devoted to scientific investigations of the ecology of urban environments and their policy implications. The scope of the journal is broad, including interactions between urban ecosystems and associated suburban and rural environments. Special emphasis is placed on the ecology of urban forests. Contributions may span a range of specific subject areas as they may apply to urban environments: biodiversity, biogeochemistry, conservation, ecosystem ecology, environmental chemistry, hydrology, landscape architecture, meteorology and climate, policy, population biology, social and human ecology, soil science, urban planning and wildlife and fisheries management.
