Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior keeps professionals abreast of the latest research, theories, and intervention approaches for suicide and life-threatening behaviors. The journal publishes scientific research on suicidal and other life-threatening behaviors, including research from biological, psychological, and sociological approaches. Issues examine such topics as risk factors for suicide in particular populations, assessment and risk-management approaches, advances in evidence-based prevention, methodological and ethical issues in intervention research, cross-cultural and international findings, and mental health needs of those bereaved by suicide.

Molecular Cancer Research publishes original, novel, and well-designed studies on the molecular and cellular aspects of cancer biology. Papers should represent significant new information gathered from basic research that has implications for cancer therapeutics in one of the following areas: Angiogenesis, Metastasis, and the Cellular Microenvironment; Cancer Genes and Genomics; Cell Cycle, Cell Death, and Senescence; DNA Damage and Cellular Stress Responses; Model Organisms; and Signaling and Regulation. Neuropsychology publishes primarily original, empirical research on the relation between brain and human cognitive, emotional, and behavioral function. Sought are submissions of experimental, cognitive, behavioral, and neuroimaging research with implications for neuropsychological theory, research, and practice.Articles that increase understanding of neuropsychological functions in both normal and disordered states and across the lifespan are encouraged. Neuropsychology focuses on basic research as well as on applied, clinical research that will stimulate systematic experimental, cognitive, and behavioral investigations as well as improve the effectiveness, range, and depth of clinical practice. Theoretical reviews, meta-analyses, and case reports with heuristic value are also published.

Measurement is devoted to the interdisciplinary study of measurement in the human sciences. Each issue of the journal features a focus article, along with commentaries that embody dialogue and debate across multiple perspectives. The journal’s overarching theme is to promote the development, critique, and enrichment of the concepts and practices of measurement. Through peer commentary and authors’responses, Measurement provides an opportunity for discussion that is largely unavailable outside the specific authors and reviewers of a particular manuscript.

The focus articles (which may be single papers or sets of linked papers) address important issues in the field, and may be in one of the following genres:

• a report and/or discussion of empirical research with a broader scope and/or implication than found in other measurement-associated journals;
• a significant theoretical article that systematizes or gives new perspectives on a body of theory, research, and/or practice in measurement;
• a novel interpretation, synthesis, or critique of measurement work;
• a summary and commentary on a field of application of measurement that either is a significant contribution to measurement in that field, or which contains an important message for measurement work in general;
• a rigorous, evidence-based critique of measurement theory and practices from outside the discipline, or from within measurement.

This journal is intended for social scientists with an interest in the study of measurement, and its theory, application, and criticism, including psychometricians, sociometricians, mathematical psychologists, clinical psychologists, educational curriculum developers, policy researchers, educational and psychological test developers and assessment designers, and medical and public health professionals.
