Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies is the flagship journal of the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. It is a peer-reviewed journal that targets research in policy studies in Australia, Asia and the Pacific, across a discipline focus that includes economics, political science, governance, development and the environment. Specific themes of recent interest include health and education, aid, migration, inequality, poverty reduction, energy, climate and the environment, food policy, public administration, the role of the private sector in public policy, trade, foreign policy, natural resource management and development policy.

Papers on a range of topics that speak to various disciplines, the region and policy makers are encouraged. The goal of the journal is to break down barriers across disciplines, and generate policy impact. Submissions will be reviewed on the basis of content, policy relevance and readability.

JMIR Research Protocols (ISSN 1929-0748) publishes peer-reviewed, openly accessible research ideas and grant proposals, study and trial protocols, reports of ongoing research, current methods and approaches. (Preliminary results from pilot studies, early results, and formative research should now be published in JMIR Formative Research.) While the original focus was on the design of medical and health-related research and technology innovations, JMIR Research Protocols publishes research protocols, proposals, and methods in all areas of medical and health research.

DEMO: Journal of Experimental Computing and Systems Research is a fictional academic journal dedicated to publishing innovative research, theoretical studies, and applied developments across the field of Computer Science. The journal focuses on emerging computational methods, software systems, artificial intelligence, data-driven technologies, cybersecurity, and human-centered computing. It welcomes interdisciplinary work that advances both the scientific foundations and practical applications of computing.

The Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering is a research journal publishing original full-length research papers, short research papers (notes), reviews, and Letters to the Editor. The Journal of Vision is an on-line, free-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal devoted to all aspects of visual function in humans and other organisms. The journal is published exclusively in digital form: full-text articles may be accessed for free via the internet. The journal encourages the effective use of color, multimedia, hyperlinks, program code, and other digital enhancements. The Journal of Vision is published by the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), an international organization devoted to research, training, and dissemination of knowledge in vision and ophthalmology.

The Journal of Labor Research provides an outlet for original research on all aspects of behavior affecting labor market outcomes. The Journal provides a forum for both empirical and theoretical research on the U.S. and international labor markets, and labor/employment issues. The journal welcomes submissions from scholars in all relevant fields on topics that involve analyses of the workplace. Issues relating to labor markets and employment relations, including labor demand and supply, personnel economics, unions and collective bargaining, employee participation, dispute resolution, labor market policies, types of employment relationships and the interplay between labor market variables and various economic outcomes are published by the Journal. The Journal of Labor Research also publishes book reviews relating to these topics.

The Journal of Early Christian History aims to contribute to scholarship in early Christian and Byzantine studies by publishing high quality research articles, review articles and book reviews. The journal aspires to approach the field of early Christian and Byzantine studies from new perspectives, welcoming studies incorporating various methodologies, contextual trajectories and interdisciplinary research. The journal especially wishes to promote research in these fields within a South African and wider African context, but not neglecting the international scholarly community. It therefore publishes individually submitted articles, articles resulting from research projects and also conference proceedings. Articles and reviews from the following disciplines are covered by the scope of the journal: New Testament Studies; Patristics and Late Ancient Studies; Byzantine Studies. Although these disciplines form the crux of research covered by the journal, studies from other relevant fields such as the Old Testament and Septuagint, Classics and Religion would also be considered for publication.

Oncology Research and Treatment offers an interdisciplinary forum for cancer research and treatment. Peer-reviewed original and review articles cover a wide range of aspects in medical hematology and oncology, surgical, gynecological, pediatric, and urological oncology, dermatological oncology, diagnostics, radiation oncology, psychological care, pathology, clinical-translational oncology, and oncological rehabilitation. Oncology Research and Treatment is addressed to clinicians and practitioners working and researching in the field of hematology and oncology.
The focus of Oncology Research and Treatment is to report clinical and translational research. Basic research is not in the scope of the journal.

The mission of Operations Research is to serve the entire Operations Research (OR) community, including practitioners, researchers, educators, and students. Operations Research, as the flagship journal of our profession, strives to publish results that are truly insightful. Each issue of Operations Research attempts to provide a balance of well-written articles that span the wide array of creative activities in OR. Thus, the major criteria for acceptance of a paper in Operations Research are that the paper is important to more than a small subset of the OR community, contains important insights, and makes a substantial contribution to the field that will stand the test of time.

The Journal of Applied Security Research: Prevention and Response in Asset Protection, Terrorism and Violence (re-titled from the Journal of Security Education to reflect a more comprehensive focus) is a one-stop resource on security research, education, and training programs that will help scholars, educators, practitioners, and students meet the increasing need for security in the United States. The journal is the official journal of the Security & Crime Division of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and is affiliated with the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers and Protect New York -- a new academic organization representing faculty from a variety of disciplines and colleges and universities, including the State University of New York system. The journal presents the latest developments in theory, practice, research, and assessment with an emphasis on up-to-date methods, techniques, and technology. Journal of Embodied Research is the first peer-reviewed, open access, academic journal to focus specifically on the innovation and dissemination of embodied knowledge through the medium of video. With an editorial advisory board drawn from across the arts and humanities, it aims to pioneer the scholarly video article as a new form supporting development of diverse embodied research projects.
