The Justice System Journal is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research articles on all aspects of law, courts, court administration, judicial behavior, and the impact of all of these on public and social policy. Open as to methodological approaches, the Justice System Journal aims to use the latest in advanced social science research and analysis to bridge the gap between practicing and academic law, courts and politics communities.

The Justice System Journal invites submission of original articles and research notes that are likely to be of interest to scholars and practitioners in the field of law, courts, and judicial administration, broadly defined. Articles may draw on a variety of research approaches in the social sciences. The journal does not publish articles devoted to extended analysis of legal doctrine such as a law review might publish, although short manuscripts analyzing cases or legal issues are welcome and will be considered for the Legal Notes section. The Justice System Journal was created by the National Center for State Courts located in Williamsburg, Virginia, and it has been published under the auspices of that organization since 1976.

The Justice System Journal features peer-reviewed research articles as well as reviews of important books in law and courts, and analytical research notes on some of the leading cases from state and federal courts. The journal periodically produces special issues that provide analysis of fundamental and timely issues on law and courts from both national and international perspectives.

As the official journal of the World Leisure Organisation, the purpose of the World Leisure Journal is to stimulate and communicate research, theory, and critical thought in all areas that address leisure, including play, recreation, the arts and culture, sport, festivals, events and celebrations, health and fitness, and travel and tourism. Empirical and theoretical manuscripts, as well as position papers, review articles, and critical essays are published in the World Leisure Journal .

The World Leisure Journal is international in scope, and encourages submissions from authors from all areas of the world. Comparative cross-national and cross-cultural research reports are especially welcome. For empirical papers, all types of research methods are appropriate and the subject matter in papers may be addressed from perspectives derived from the social, behavioural, and biological sciences, education, and the humanities. Both pure and applied research reports are appropriate for publication in the World Leisure Journal . In addition to original research reports and review essays, book reviews, research notes, comments, and methodological contributions are appropriate for publication in the World Leisure Journal .

The Journal of Genome Editing and Regulation (JGER) is open access, peer-reviewed, and fully refereed scholarly journal. The journal publishes original papers, short reports, reviews, and communications on all aspects of genomic research, focusing on RNA biology, gene regulation and genome editing techniques.

The journal aims to provide a platform for presenting and discussing all cutting-edge gene regulatory research and genome-editing, improving the understanding of genome to phenome, and develop new strategies for mechanisms, decoding, annotation of genomes. The journal welcomes multidisciplinary genome research submissions, including molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics, computational biology, and comparative genomics studies. Research that can develop gene regulations' impacts, editing on viruses and bacteria's genomes to improve animal and human diseases' therapeutics is highly encouraged.

The Journal of Labor Research provides an outlet for original research on all aspects of behavior affecting labor market outcomes. The Journal provides a forum for both empirical and theoretical research on the U.S. and international labor markets, and labor/employment issues. PaleoAmerica disseminates new research results and ideas about early human dispersal and migrations, with a particular focus on the Americas. It fosters an interdisciplinary dialog between archaeologists, geneticists and other scientists investigating the dispersal of modern humans during the late Pleistocene.

The journal has three goals: First and foremost, the journal is a vehicle for the presentation of new research results. Second, it includes editorials on special topics written by leaders in the field. Third, the journal solicits essays covering current debates in the field, the state of research in relevant disciplines, and summaries of new research findings in a particular region, for example Beringia, the Eastern Seaboard or the Southern Cone of South America. The Journal of Montessori Research & Education will, as the name indicates, provide a publishing platform for research related to Montessori education. The overall aim is to contribute to the development of Montessori education built on high-quality research and by raising awareness of theoretical and empirical aspects of Montessori education. The journal is aimed at academics looking to advance the educational science as well as for practicing teachers looking to use evidence-based methods to improve their work.

Demographic Research is a free, online, open access, peer-reviewed journal of the population sciences published by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany. Contributions are generally published within one month of final acceptance. Demographic Research aims to: publish top-quality demographic research and related material from the full range of disciplines that bear on demography, including the social sciences, the life sciences, mathematics and statistics, policy research, and research on the discipline itself; harness the potential of the Internet. Articles may include data files, computer programs, and other supporting material, as well as hypertext links to other Internet resources; and encourage the development of an international community of people concerned with demographic research, including researchers, teachers, students, data producers; and users of demographic knowledge in government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.

Computational Humanities Research (CHR) is an open access journal in the computational humanities, publishing transdisciplinary papers that are grounded in humanities research questions and use computational, quantitative methodologies to analyse humanities data in its various forms. It is the official journal of the CHR Conference. CHR publishes research that tackles big questions and solves problems pertaining to the humanities through advanced computational methods, contributing empirically to major theoretical, cultural, and historical inquiry. It seeks papers that spotlight quantitative and computational methods and applications, including the practical use and impact of computational techniques, in humanities research. 

Hypertension Research is an international journal devoted to research on all aspects of the field of hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases. It is the leading clinical research journal in the Asia-Pacific region.Hypertension Research now offers authors the option for immediate open access publication. NPG will deposit published open access papers in PubMed Central at the time of publication.

The Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) features peer reviewed Software Metapapers describing research software with high reuse potential. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional repositories to ensure that the associated software is professionally archived, preserved, and is openly available. Equally importantly, the software and the papers will be citable, and reuse will be tracked.

JORS also publishes full-length research papers that cover different aspects of creating, maintaining and evaluating open source research software. The aim of the section is to promote the dissemination of best practice and experience related to the development and maintenance of reusable, sustainable research software.

Breast Cancer Research is an international, peer-reviewed online journal, publishing original research, reviews, editorials and reports. Open access research articles of exceptional interest are published in all areas of biology and medicine relevant to breast cancer, including normal mammary gland biology, with special emphasis on the genetic, biochemical, and cellular basis of breast cancer. In addition to basic research, the journal publishes preclinical, translational and clinical studies with a biological basis, including Phase I and Phase II trials.

RAIRO-Operations Research is an international journal devoted to high-level pure and applied research on all aspects of operations research. All papers published in RAIRO-Operations Research are critically refereed according to international standards. Any paper will either be accepted (possibly with minor revisions) either submitted to another evaluation (after a major revision) or rejected. Every effort will be made by the Editorial Board to ensure a quick turnaround to all papers submitted to the journal. Articles may be written in English or in French.
