Societal Impacts is a multidisciplinary, open access, peer-reviewed journal, which publishes short, digestible articles that describe the societal impacts of research, including cultural, economic, educational, environmental, health, legal, political, social, and technological impacts. The journal contributes to open science by promoting societal engagement in research and making the impacts of research visible. It openly showcases the diverse approaches adopted by individuals working within different research fields and institutions and how these can help communities tackle local, regional, and global challenges including support for Sustainable Development Goals.

Mediterranean Politics is the only refereed academic journal to focus on the politics, international relations and political economy of the entire Mediterranean area - 'Mediterranean' here being understood to refer to all those countries whose borders are defined partially or wholly by the Mediterranean Sea. This focus involves consideration not only of the region itself, but also the significance of developments there for other parts of the world. The journal analyses the central issues that concern Mediterranean countries and assesses both local and international responses to them. While its prime concern is with political developments, the focus of Mediterranean Politics extends to all the factors and dimensions affecting political life. These include social movements and issues, regional and domestic conflicts, the political economy of the Mediterranean, migration, political reform processes and issues of cultural identity. The journal does not accept articles on historical subjects that lack direct contemporary linkage, or general economics articles with a Mediterranean context. Since its inception, the journal has given extensive attention to the expanding relationships between Europe and its southern neighbours, including the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, European Neighbourhood Policy and Union for the Mediterranean. Equally, we welcome contributions on interactions between the Mediterranean and other parts of the world. The articles are based on original research, some focused on individual states, others on relationships between them, the role of multilateral organizations in the area or issues that are relevant to the area or sub-areas as a whole or to several countries studied comparatively. Besides research articles, the journal publishes a regular Profile section devoted to briefer analysis of recent events or developments, and a substantial book review section, usually containing a review article. This peer-reviewed journal wishes to encourage international debate about change in schools, especially, but not only, schools in challenging contexts. This includes research relating to learning and teaching in the classroom, the curriculum, teacher professional development and the relationships between schools, their communities and the broader education system. The journal also publishes research on innovative programmes in pre-service teacher education. In general, articles on leadership and management are not the focus of the journal, unless they are related to curriculum leadership. Contributions are published mainly in the form of empirical research articles and original theoretical works, as well as book review articles.

Educational Action Research is a fully refereed international journal concerned with exploring the dialogue between research and practice in educational settings. Original papers present research on all aspects of neonatology, fetal medicine and developmental biology. These papers encompass both basic science and clinical research including randomized trials, novel observational studies and epidemiology. Basic science research covers molecular biology, molecular genetics, physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology in fetal and neonatal life.
