The American Journal of Botany (AJB), the flagship journal of the Botanical Society of America (BSA), publishes peer-reviewed, innovative, significant research of interest to a wide audience of plant scientists in all areas of plant biology (structure, function, development, diversity, genetics, evolution, systematics), all levels of organization (molecular to ecosystem), and all plant groups and allied organisms (cyanobacteria, algae, fungi, and lichens). AJB requires authors to frame their research questions and discuss their results in terms of major questions of plant biology. In general, papers that are too narrowly focused, purely descriptive, natural history, broad surveys, or that contain only preliminary data will not be considered.The AJB also includes AJB Primer Notes & Protocols in the Plant Sciences, an online-only section for papers intended to promote rapid dissemination of protocols used in genetic analyses of plants. Subjects appropriate for this section include: (1) marker notes providing primer sequences for microsatellite or other markers in particular taxa, and (2) protocol notes describing new methods for isolating, visualizing, or scoring genetic markers. The Annals of Saudi Medicine is a Bimonthly multidisciplinary medical journal published by the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We publish scientific reports on human subjects in the form of original articles, brief reports, case reports, and letters. We also accept review articles, special communications and editorials.All submissions are subject to peer review by the Editorial Board and by referees in appropriate specialties. We will consider for publication manuscripts from any part of the world, but most particularly manuscripts that would be of interest to readers from the Middle East. The journal was first published in 1981 as the King Faisal Specialist Hospital Medical Journal and in 1985, the name was changed to the Annals of Saudi Medicine.The Annals went from a quarterly to a bimonthly publication in 1988. It was included in the Thomson ISI database beginning in the early 1990s and first received an impact factor in 1995 within the category of general and internal medicine journals. The impact factor ranged between 0.1 and 0.3 for the next decade, doubling in 2006 from the previous year, apparently as a result of listing in the National Library of Medicine PubMed database beginning in 2004. In 2008, the impact factor nearly doubled again to 0.6. The journal’s Article Influence and Eigenfactor scores have also increased in recent years.\.

Automation in Construction is an international journal for the publication of original research papers. The journal publishes refereed material on all aspects pertaining to the use of Information Technologies in Design, Engineering, Construction Technologies, and Maintenance and Management of Constructed Facilities. The scope of Automation in Construction is broad, encompassing all stages of the construction life cycle from initial planning and design, through construction of the facility, its operation and maintenance, to the eventual dismantling and recycling of buildings and engineering structures. Behaviour Research and Therapy encompasses all of what is commonly referred to as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). The focus is on the following: theoretical and experimental analyses of psychopathological processes with direct implications for prevention and treatment; the development and evaluation of empirically-supported interventions; predictors, moderators and mechanisms of behaviour change; and dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments to general clinical practice. In addition to traditional clinical disorders, the scope of the journal also includes behavioural medicine. Discrete Optimization publishes research papers on the mathematical, computational and applied aspects of all areas of integer programming and combinatorial optimization. As of January 2000, Developmental Genetics was renamed and relaunched as genesis: The Journal of Genetics and Development, with a new scope and Editorial Board. The journal focuses on work that addresses the genetics of development and the fundamental mechanisms of embryological processes in animals and plants.
