Citizen Science: Theory and Practice is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Ubiquity Press on behalf of the Citizen Science Association. The journal focuses on advancing the global field of citizen science by providing a venue for citizen science researchers and practitioners to share best practices in conceiving, developing, implementing, evaluating, and sustaining projects that facilitate public participation in scientific endeavors in any discipline. Authors include scientists, educators, community organizers, information technologists, conservation biologists, evaluators, land-use planners, and more. Readers include anyone interested in understanding and improving practice of the growing citizen science field. As an open-access journal no fees are charged to view any part of the journal, which is supported by nominal author’s fees.

The journal accepts manuscripts in several categories: Research articles, review and synthesis articles, case studies, methods papers, meeting reports, and essays. We are flexible with these categories, however, as we strive to meet the needs of the citizen science community of practice. We do maintain a rigorous peer-review system that includes a double-blind option. In the future, we plan to experiment with varied types of publications including Registered Reports and pre-publication peer review. The journal publishes supplemental information.

AJAR is an online Open Access peer-reviewed journal for all kinds of design research and scholarly research within the architectural field, and has been set up by the Architectural Research European Network Association (ARENA) network. It welcomes the submission of essays by doctoral students and younger researchers as well as by established architects and academics. Computational Psychiatry publishes original research articles and reviews that involve the application, analysis, or invention of theoretical, computational and statistical approaches to mental function and dysfunction. Topics include brain and behavioral modeling over multiple scales and levels of analysis, and the use of these models to understand psychiatric dysfunction, its remediation, its relation to social or biological factors, and the development and sustenance of healthy cognition throughout the lifespan.

The International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles in the field of integrated care on a continuous basis.

IJIC has an Impact Factor of 1.837 (2017 JCR, received in June 2018)

The Journal of Open Humanities Data (JOHD) features peer reviewed publications describing humanities data or techniques with high potential for reuse. Humanities subjects of interest to JOHD include, but are not limited to Art History, History, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, etc. Data that crosses one or more of these traditional disciplines are highly encouraged.

Utrecht Journal of International and European Law (previously Merkourios) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed, student-led law journal, focusing on international and European law.

The journal aims to contribute to legal scholarship on international and European law by promoting these fields' progressive development and providing an international forum for interaction between academia, practitioners and students.

Doklady Biochemistry and Biophysics presents English translations of current Russian research from the biochemistry and biophysics sections of the Doklady akademii nauk (Proceedings of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The Proceedings appear 36 times per year; articles on biochemistry and biophysics are collected, translated, and published in 6 issues per year. Doklady Biochemistry and Biophysics publishes the most significant new research in biochemistry and biophysics being done in Russia today, thus ensuring its scientific priority. Since 2001, the journals Doklady Biochemistry and Doklady Biophysics have been combined.

The Journal of Chemical Sciences publishes original articles and rapid communications by Indian and other researchers, spanning topics in the chemical sciences. It was originally part of the Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences – Part A, founded by the Nobel Laureate Professor C.V. Raman in 1934. It was renamed Journal of Chemical Sciences, matching its present-day focus, in 2004. The journal presents original research articles and rapid communications, covering all areas of chemical sciences. A significant feature is its special issues, brought out from time to time, devoted to conference symposia/proceedings in frontier areas of the subject, held not only in India but also in other countries. It is published bi-monthly by the Indian Academy of Sciences.
