Neuropsychoanalysis
We welcome experimental, clinical or theoretical papers that take into account both mind and brain. More specifically, papers that emphasize the integration of the dynamic, intrapsychic or interpersonal world of subjectivity and mental life, either conscious or unconscious, on the one hand, and the objective measurements or manipulations of brain structure or function, on the other hand, are invited. Submissions are subject to double-blind peer review before they are accepted for publication. In addition, target papers on selected topics are solicited from leading researchers, and published together with invited commentaries from both psychoanalytic and neuroscientific peers.

Laterality: Asymmetries of Brain, Behaviour, and Cognition
Laterality: Asymmetries of Body, Brain and Cognition publishes high quality research on all aspects of lateralisation in humans and non-human species. Laterality's principal interest is in the psychological, behavioural and neurological correlates of lateralisation. The editors will also consider accessible papers from any discipline which can illuminate the general problems of the evolution of biological and neural asymmetry, papers on the cultural, linguistic, artistic and social consequences of lateral asymmetry, and papers on its historical origins and development. The interests of workers in laterality are typically broad. Submission of inter-disciplinary work, either empirical or theoretical, or concerned with problems of measurement or statistical analysis, is therefore also encouraged. The journal publishes special issues on particular topics. The first issue was published in March 1996, and six issues are now published every year.The editors encourage the submission of dissenting opinions and comments that directly relate to papers that have been published in Laterality. The editors reserve the right to terminate an interchange after a comment and response to the comment. Our purpose is to publish a prestigious international journal for studies in integrative medicine. The Journal of Maps is a peer-reviewed, inter-disciplinary, online journal that aims to provide a forum for researchers to publish maps and spatial diagrams.
Scope
In its broadest sense, the Journal of Maps ( JoM ) is concerned with social and physical processes that take place on a geographical scale. Topics could include, for example, footfall in retail marketing, the spread of bird flu or location of geological faults, the common theme being the use of maps or spatial diagrams to advance understanding. Maps submitted MUST make a substantial contribution to knowledge in the field that is likely to be of broad interest to readers of the journal. Above all, to be published in the JoM is to demonstrate a unique line of enquiry which has required the use of maps or spatial diagrams, to have collected new data or added significant value to existing data and to present and communicate the findings adhering to high cartographic standards.
Origins
The JoM has its origins back in the geological and geographical journals of the late-1800s and early 1900s. The investigative research during this period was based strongly around fieldwork and the observation of phenomena. After observation, interpretation could be applied and then presented at a society meeting. The "proceedings" of these lectures were then published, often with extra plates of photographs and maps of the original fieldwork. As a result of the these early pioneers, we now have a permanent record of this work which can be referred back to. This is important as we not only have the interpretive conclusions, but also the original data upon which the work was based. The JoM therefore seeks to offer a forum for academics to present the geospatial products of their research.Multi-Disciplinary and International
As a discipline, "geography" traditionally covers a wide range of subject areas due to it's spatial nature. Maps and mapping science were often incorporated within geography, however spatial data are now widely used in many disciplines. JoM is intentionally multi-disciplinary and wants to draw upon, and present, work from all subject areas. Not only has this built an increasing archive of mapped data for future researchers to draw upon, but also fosters inter-disciplinary contexts.

Research in Mathematics Education
Research in Mathematics Education is an international English language journal, publishing original refereed articles on all aspects of mathematics education. Papers should address the central issues in terms which are of relevance across educational systems and informed by wider thinking in the field.The journal has three sections, covering research papers, book reviews, and current reports.The Research Papers section contains reports of studies involving empirical investigation and theoretical argumentation from which conclusions and implications can be drawn for future research and practice. Such reports are expected to show how the study builds on critical review of relevant literature and to provide an account of the methods and procedures used. Reports on thoughtful replications or variations of key earlier studies are welcome, as are critical reviews of some well-defined aspect of mathematics education. The journal welcomes high-quality research in any methodological tradition and is open to innovative and unusual approaches. Vulnerable Children and Youth Studies: An International Interdisciplinary Journal for Research, Policy and Care
Vulnerable Children and Youth Studies is an essential peer-reviewed journal analyzing vulnerability in childhood from a scholarly and experiential perspective so that learning and good practice can be discussed and disseminated with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of children. Ethics and Social Welfare
Ethics and Social Welfare publishes articles of a critical and reflective nature concerned with the ethical issues surrounding social welfare practice and policy. It has a particular focus on social work (including practice with individuals, families and small groups), social care, youth and community work and related professions.
The aim of the journal is to encourage dialogue and debate across social, intercultural and international boundaries on the serious ethical issues relating to professional interventions into social life. Through this we hope to contribute towards deepening understandings and further ethical practice in the field of social welfare.
The journal welcomes material in a variety of formats, including high quality peer-reviewed academic papers, reflections, debates and commentaries on policy and practice, book reviews and review articles. We actively encourage a diverse range of contributions from academic and field practitioners, voluntary workers, service users, carers and people bringing the perspectives of oppressed groups.
Contributions might include reports on research studies on the influence of values and ethics in social welfare practice, education and organisational structures, theoretical papers discussing the evolution of social welfare values and ethics, linked to contemporary philosophical, social and ethical thought, accounts of ethical issues, problems and dilemmas in practice, and reflections on the ethics and values of policy and organisational development.

The field of computer virus prevention has rapidly taken an important position in our technological and information society. Viral attacks increase year after year, and antiviral efforts continually face new challenges. Beneficial applications of technologies based on scientific computer virology are still very limited. The theoretical aspects of the virus problem are only rarely considered, although many interesting and important open problems still exist. Little proactive research is focused on predicting the future of viral attacks. The Journal in Computer Virology is an independent scientific and technical journal dedicated to viral and antiviral computer technologies. Both theoretical and experimental aspects will be considered; papers emphasizing the theoretical aspects are especially welcome. The topics covered by this journal include, but are certainly not limited to: - Mathematical aspects and theoretical fundamentals of computer virology - Algorithmics and computer virology - Computer immunology and biological models for computers - Reverse engineering - Viral technologies - Antiviral technologies - Cryptologic techniques and tools in computer virology - Steganographic techniques and tools in computer virology - Applications in computer virology - Virology and IDS In addition, since computational problems are of practical interest, papers on the computational aspects of computer virology are welcome. Submitted papers will be judged primarily by their content, their originality and their technical and scientific quality. Contributions should comprise novel and previousl, y unpublished material. However, prior publication in conference proceedings of an abstract, summary, or other abbreviated, preliminary form of the material should not preclude publication in this journal when notice of such prior or concurrent publication is given with the submission. In addition to full-length theoretical and technical articles, short communications or notes are acceptable. Survey papers will be accepted with a prior invitation only. Special issues devoted to a single topic are also planned. The policy of the journal is to maintain strict referring procedures, to perform a high quality peer-review of each submitted paper, and to send notification to the author(s) with as short a delay as possible. Accepted papers will normally be published within one year of submission at the latest. The journal will be published four times a year. Every submitted paper will be anonymously peer-reviewed according to the following rules: - Invited paper with board member as (co)author: at least one reviewer, - Regular paper with no board member as (co)author: three reviewers, - Regular papers with board member as (co)author: four reviewers. Note: As far as new viral techniques are concerned, the journal strongly encourages authors to consider algorithmic aspects rather than the actual source code of a particular virus. Nonetheless, papers containing illustrative excerpts of viral source codes may be accepted provided that a scientific approach is maintained and that inclusion of these excerpts is strictly necessary for the presentation of the research. No paper containing a complete viral source code will be considered or accepted. The final objective is, once again, proactive defence. A prize of 500 euros will be awarded to the best paper every year. The journal will be published by Springer France.

Articles should be in the region of 4.000 words. Research notes and shorter pieces will also be considered for publication. In addition. papers derived from work done under the EU Research Framework Programme will be readily considered. Submissions should be double-spaced. They can be sent either by e-mail to the Editor or by post c/o of the publisher (contact details above). Electronic versions must be in Word. The text should be ordered under appropriate sub-headings (not numbered paragraphs or sections) and where possible these should not be more than 800 words apart. Three levels of sub-heading are possible. The title page should show the names and addresses of the authors. their professional status and affiliation and the address (including e-mail) to which correspondence should be sent. As this page will not be sent to referees. the title of the article (without author names) should be repeated on the first text page. An abstract should be provided. comprising 80-100 words. Between 3 and 6 keywords should appear below the abstract. highlighting the main topics of the paper. References should follow the Harvard system. That is. they should be shown within the text as the author39;s surname (or authors39; surnames) followed by a comma and the year of publication. all in round brackets: for example. (Smith. 1998). At the end of the article a bibliographical list should be supplied. organized alphabetically by author (surnames followed by initials - all authors should be named). Bibliographic information should be given in the order indicated by the following examples: Articles:Wheeler. T.. and Kay. M. (2010). ‘Food crop production. water and climate change in the developing world’.Outlook on Agriculture. Vol 39. No 4. pp 239–243. Books:Lovelock. J. Notes should be numbered consecutively in the text and typed in plain text at the end of the paper (not as footnotes on text pages). Tables should be reduced to the simplest form and present only essential data. They should be submitted on separate sheets at the end of the article. The use of vertical rules in tables should be avoided. For illustrations. line drawings and photographs are acceptable. Authors are asked to supply originals of line drawings for reproduction. Photographs should be glossy prints with good contrast. Authors should bear in mind that colour illustrations will be reproduced in black and white in the print version of the journal. Prior Publication Articles are received on the understanding that they are original contributions. and have not been published officially. either in print or electronic form. or submitted for publication elsewhere. In this respect. ‘discussion’ or ‘working’ papers. conference presentations and proceedings are not considered to be official publications. unless they have been formally deemed so by conference organizers. or presented as edited works through recognized publishing channels. If in doubt. authors are asked to draw the attention of the Editor to any prior dissemination of the paper in their letter of submission. Refereeing Other than research notes. reports. and personal opinion pieces. articles will be refereed. Papers by authors who are not academics (eg submissions from industry) will also be subject to review before acceptance. but their distinct nature and aims will be fully taken into account. PsyEcology
Psyecology, Bilingual Journal of Environmental Psychology, publishes multidisciplinary papers in the field of Environmental Psychology in both English and Spanish.
Accepted manuscripts include empirical research and intervention projects that focus on the interaction between people and their environment, and all aspects involved in this relationship: psychological processes, individual and social activity, and cultural mediation. Theoretical reviews will also be considered for publication according to originality and current relevance.
Subjects of interest for Psyecology include environmental representation and cognition, environment assessment and intervention, quality of life and environment, environmental participation and education, ecological behaviour, cognitive maps, place attachment, symbolic space and social identity processes, environmental attitudes and beliefs, space design, institutional and working environments, health and environment, environmental stress, noise, crowding, dangerous environments and fear of crime, risk perception, psychosocial aspects of environmental impact, conservation and management of natural resources, landscape perception, research methods specific of the aforementioned fields, and ultimately, all research focused on the relation between human activity and the environment.
Psyecology will be of interest to researchers from a wide number of disciplines focused on the interaction between people and the environment, such as psychology, education, biology, environmental sciences, architecture, design, sociology, anthropology, political science, geography, history, urban planning, etcetera.

Estudios de Psicología publishes articles of empirical research, methodological innovation, and theoretical debate in the frontier of psychological knowledge. Among others, examples of articles in the frontier of psychology are those that allow for a new understanding of a psychological phenomenon, that soundly and originally criticize a mainstream theory, that defy the discipline’s commonly accepted knowledge, that propose original experimental paradigms, different to those widely accepted by the academic community of the normal science… Its main goal is thus to provide a dialogue forum both between psychological sub-disciplines, and between psychology and other related disciplines.
In order to foster approaches that delve deep into psychology's most relevant trends and developments, as of 2014 Estudios de Psicología will only accept manuscripts whose content and approach follows the guidelines indicated in the journal’s current calls for monographic issues, regardless of whether these calls have been issued by the journal Editor or by Invited Editors who have submitted a monographic proposal according to the journal’s Instructions For Authors.
Estudios de Psicología will be of interest to researchers and graduate students working in psychology and related disciplines, and psychologists working in both applied fields and academia.

Estudios de Psicología publica artículos de investigación empírica, innovación metodológica y debate teórico en la frontera del conocimiento psicológico. Entre otros, se pueden considerar ejemplos de artículos en la frontera de la psicología aquellos que permitan comprender de manera novedosa un fenómeno psicológico, que critiquen alguna teoría de corriente principal de manera fundada y original, que desafíen el conocimiento común de la disciplina, que propongan paradigmas experimentales originales, diferentes de los aceptados por la comunidad de académicos de la ciencia normal... Su objetivo prioritario es por tanto constituirse en un espacio de diálogo, tanto entre diferentes subdisciplinas psicológicas, como entre la psicología y otras formas de conocimiento próximas a ella.
Con el fin de promover el tratamiento en profundidad de las líneas de desarrollo más relevantes de nuestra disciplina, a partir de 2014 Estudios de Psicología solo aceptará artículos cuyo contenido y enfoque siga las pautas marcadas por las convocatorias vigentes de temas monográficos, ya sean planteados por el Editor de la revista o por Editores Invitados que hayan enviado una propuesta, según el esquema que se expone en las Instrucciones Para Autores. Estudios de Psicología va dirigida a investigadores y estudiantes de doctorado en psicología y disciplinas afines, psicólogos de ámbitos tanto académicos como aplicados.
