Engineering in Life Sciences covers all technological aspects of Industrial, Environmental, Plant and Food Biotechnology, especially those related to the new, emerging fields of interest: White Biotechnology and Bioenergy.The journal reflects the modern and fast moving nature of engineering in life sciences and serves as a worldwide forum for the exchange of scientific information in this field, its interdisciplinary character supporting the transfer of scientific results of industrial biotechnology, as well as of environmental studies into technological processes. Concentrating on technology rather than on fundamental biological phenomena, it provides particularly useful insights into engineering applications.Rapid recent advances in genetic and metabolic engineering, systems biology, cell culture, tissue engineering and other biomedical applications have generated virtually unlimited potential for altering the capabilities of living systems expanding the scope of biotechnology, generating new applications for biological products and providing unprecedented ability to control life processes. A primary component of the mission of Engineering in Life Sciences is to facilitate the realization of this immense potential.All papers on microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, and applied environmental studies are technologically relevant, and there is a strong focus on bioprocess and biochemical engineering. Thus, the journal helps to drive advances in the covered fields, in terms of both research & development and the implementation of basic knowledge.
Engineering with Computers is an international journal for simulation-based engineering. It publishes original papers and authoritative state-of-the-art reviews on the technologies supporting simulation-based engineering, and examples of operational simulation-based engineering systems. A partial list of the technical areas covered includes: adaptive simulation techniques, engineering databases, integration with CAD geometry, mesh generation, parallel simulation methods, simulation frameworks, user interface technologies and visualization techniques. Application areas covered include any to which engineering technologies are applied and will range from applications in the automotive industry, to the design of medical devices.

The English Academy Review: Southern African Journal of English Studies (EAR) is the journal of the English Academy of Southern Africa. In line with the Academy's vision of promoting effective English as a vital resource and of respecting Africa's diverse linguistic ecology, it welcomes submissions on language as well as educational, philosophical and literary topics from Southern Africa and across the globe. In addition to refereed academic articles, it publishes creative writing and book reviews of significant new publications as well as lectures and proceedings. EAR is an accredited journal that is published biannually by Unisa Press (South Africa) and Taylor and Francis. Its editorial policy is governed by the Council of the English Academy of Southern Africa who also appoint the Editor-in-Chief for a three-year term of office. Guest editors are appointed from time to time on an ad hoc basis.Peer Review Policy:All academic submissions are subject to anonymous peer review by at least two referees. Since 1934, ELH has published superior studies that interpret the conditions affecting major works in English and American literature. The importance of historical continuity in the discipline of letters remains a central concern for ELH but the journal does not seek to sponsor particular methods or aims.
