Full-length articles, with abstracts in English, French, German and Spanish, deal with the history and interpretation of non-current maps and mapmaking in any part of the world. Shorter articles communicate significant new findings or new opinions. All articles are fully illustrated. For instance:Imago Mundi is the journal of record for the history of cartography and the only international scholarly journal solely concerned with the study and interpretation of maps and mapmaking in any part of the world, at any period.From the outset, Imago Mundi included the key ingredients of every subsequent volume: illustrated scholarly articles, book reviews, bibliography, and chronicle. The last three elements, which together provide an up-to-date summary of current developments, make it a journal of record. The format of the much-admired Bibliography, under its editor Nick Millea, was established in 1976. It is now provided with three indexes, of authors, places and subjects. Chronicle, an organized listing of personal and institutional news, conferences, exhibitions, acquisitions and map sales, was introduced the following year. The Book Reviews Editors, Dr Ronald E Grim and Dr A.S. Bendall, aim to feature a large majority of titles within twelve months of publication. The journal also carries obituaries, reports and short notices.The present range of refereed articles (usually 8-10 per volume) makes Imago Mundi a genuinely interdisciplinary journal, of relevance to a growing number of university courses, not only in history and geography but also in related subject areas, such as the history of art, ideas, literature and the sciences. Immigrants & Minorities, founded in 1981, provides a major outlet for research into the history of immigration and related studies. It seeks to deal with the complex themes involved in the construction of 'race' and with the broad sweep of ethnic and minority relations within a historical setting. Immune System features Open Access original research and reviews reporting on translational and clinical studies encompassing all the field of immunology, bridging clinical with preclinical, and translational investigations. The journal emphasizes evidence-based clinical and laboratory research with statistically valid results that clearly help advancing our knowledge in the field. It specifically welcomes intra and inter disciplinarity Environmental immunology, Immunomics, Immunoterapy and including but not restricted to immune aspects of allergy, disorders of the respiratory tract, skin and autoimmune and neurodegenerative disorders. It encompasses original randomized controlled trials, as well as real-world evidence studies, reviews, systematic reviews, but also well-elaborated clinical cases and case-series could be acceptable. The transfer of information from fundamental research to clinical research and clinical practice is particularly welcome. Contributions and ideas from large segments of the scientific community are welcome to make Immune System a viable, much needed, and up-and-coming forum for current basic and applied immunological research.

Immunity is a monthly journal which publishes research articles and reviews of general interest in the entire discipline of immunology. Immunity was founded in the belief that advances in molecular and cellular immunology have brought immunology to a point at which a journal of high quality should be able to provide a unifying intellectual view, but the mandate for Immunity is not restricted to any particular level of analysis or to any particular type of system. The title Immunity is meant to indicate a breadth of interest extending beyond the formal definition of immunology, and into all systems that contribute to, or interact with, the immune system of the organism. Submitted articles are reviewed for both technical excellence and general interest, and those that are accepted are published within ten weeks.Immunity follows the example ofCell in defining criteria for general interest that are just as important as technical quality in deciding on the acceptability of submissions. The area of interest is defined broadly beyond the obvious characterization of immune genes and cells, effectively including any and all research that contributes to understanding of infection and host defenses. Immunity, Inflammation and Disease is a peer-reviewed, open access, interdisciplinary journal providing rapid publication of research across the broad field of immunology. Immunity, Inflammation and Disease gives rapid consideration to papers in all areas of clinical and basic research. In order for research to advance, negative results, which often make a valuable contribution to the field, should be published. However, articles containing negative or null results are frequently not considered for publication or rejected by journals. We welcome papers of this kind, where appropriate and valid power calculations are included that give confidence that a negative result can be relied upon.
