The International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds (IJLEW) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal publishing reviews of evidence-based diagnostic techniques and methods, disease and patient management, and surgical and medical therapeutics for lower extremity wounds such as burns, stomas, ulcers, fistulas, and traumatic wounds. IJLEW also offers evaluations of assessment and monitoring tools, dressings, gels, cleansers, pressure management, footwear/orthotics, casting, and bioengineered skin.

The journal examines the theoretical foundations of conscious machines and analyzes current approaches to machine consciousness. It offers unity and visibility to a wide spread of research, which is now scattered throughout many diverse and often unrelated journals. The journal also allows a publication focus where scholars could present, compare and evaluate their work on machine consciousness both from the theoretical and technical side. Since the topic of machine consciousness is still highly controversial, each issue will endorse a blend of papers covering provocative theories as well as testable models. Cybernetics is concerned with describing complex interactions and interrelationships between systems which are omnipresent in our daily life. Machine Learning discovers fundamental functional relationships between variables and ensembles of variables in systems. The merging of the disciplines of Machine Learning and Cybernetics is aimed at the discovery of various forms of interaction between systems through diverse mechanisms of learning from data.

The International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics (IJMLC) focuses on the key research problems emerging at the junction of machine learning and cybernetics and serves as a broad forum for rapid dissemination of the latest advancements in the area. The emphasis of IJMLC is on the hybrid development of machine learning and cybernetics schemes inspired by different contributing disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, cognitive sciences, and applications. New ideas, design alternatives, implementations and case studies pertaining to all the aspects of machine learning and cybernetics fall within the scope of the IJMLC.

The International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture is devoted to advances in scientific understanding of essential mechanics of processes and machines applied to the manufacture of engineering components, mainly in metals, but also in composites, ceramics and other structural/functional materials. It does not deal with large-scale natural organic materials. To this end coverage is given to a range of topics that includes:•Essential mechanics of processes involving material removal, accretion and deformation, in solid, semi-solid or particulate form•Performance characteristics of machine tools and machine tool work-piece systems•Tool design, utilization and failure•Significant scientific development of existing or new processes and machines•Approaches to added value through geometrical/microstructural precision•Micro manufactureThe above list is not exhaustive and papers on other topics associated with process science/technology or manufacturing hardware are welcome. Significant and useful advance of the current state of knowledge is an essential factor and it is important that papers are presented in a manner that will be appreciated by both academics and practising engineers. It is unlikely that papers dealing with theory or modelling alone will be acceptable, unless a significant proven advance in scientific/technological knowledge is demonstrated. Likewise, papers in which the use of methodology predominates over technological advance would probably be rejected. Normally, multipart papers are not acceptable.

The International Journal of Management Education provides a forum for scholarly reporting and discussion of developments in all aspects of teaching and learning in business and management.
