The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment (JLCA) is the first journal devoted entirely to LCA. LCA has become a recognized instrument to assess the ecological burdens and impacts connected with products and systems, or, more generally, with human activities. The LCA-Journal - which has been expanded by a section on Life Cycle Management (LCM) - is a forum for:
Scientists developing LCA and LCM; LCA and LCM practitioners;
Managers concerned with environmental aspects of products;
Governmental environmental agencies responsible for product quality;
Scientific and industrial societies involved in LCA development; and ecological institutions and bodies. Topics covered by JLCA:
- Papers on the improvement and development of LCA methodology
- Social and political acceptance of LCA; Governmental activities + EC, OECD, ISO
- Examples from industrial applications; 'Historical series': LCA How it came about
- Energy analysis; Short versions of actual LCAs and case studie
The International Journal of Lifelong Education provides a forum for debate on the principles and practice of lifelong, adult, continuing, recurrent and initial education and learning, whether in formal, institutional or informal settings. Common themes include social purpose in lifelong education, and sociological, policy and political studies of lifelong education. The journal recognises that research into lifelong learning needs to focus on the relationships between schooling, later learning, active citizenship and personal fulfilment, as well as the relationship between schooling, employability and economic development.With this in mind, the journal provides the context for an informed debate on the theory and practice of lifelong education in a variety of countries and settings. All papers are peer reviewed. Each issue carries a lively reviews section.Peer Review Policy:All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous refereesDisclaimer for Scientific, Technical and Social Science publications:Taylor & Francis make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the 8220;Content8221;) contained in its publications. International Journal of Limnology (IJL) publishes original articles and reviews on all aspects dealing with the physical or chemical properties, biology and ecology of freshwater and brackish systems. Manuscripts can be proposed about studies performed either in the laboratory or at field. Said differently, IJL aims at providing a unique media for topics addressing inland water environments (physics, chemistry, biogeochemistry, biology, ecology), from both fundamental and functional aspects to applications and management issues. IJL promotes rapid peer-review and rapid publication. In 2020, time from submission to first decision was 1-2 weeks and time from acceptance to online publication was 4 weeks. The official language of the journal is English.
IJLM provides a platform for development and examination of management theory and practice relating to logistics and the supply chain. We seek to deliver relevant research that delivers credible knowledge to industry and society while advancing the discipline.
International Journal of Logistics: Research & Applications publishes original and challenging work that has a clear applicability to the business world. As a result the journal concentrates on papers of an academic journal standard but aimed at the practitioner as much as the academic. High quality contributions are therefore welcomed from both academics and professionals working in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Papers should further our understanding of logistics and supply chain management and make a significant original contribution to knowledge. In this context the term 'logistics' is taken in its broadest context as "the management of processes, flow of materials and associated information along the entire supply chain, from raw materials through to the final user of the product". The journal covers all aspects of logistics and supply chain management including, but not limited to, the topics and areas listed below:Inbound and outbound logistics including distribution, transport, warehousing, 3PL and 4PLMaterials Management MRP, DRP, ERP and Vendor or Co-Managed Inventories (VMI)Modelling and simulation of logistics and supply systems and processesDecision support tools, methods and systems such as Value Stream MappingIntra and inter enterprise communication tools and methods such as EDI, Internet, Extranet, RFID etc.Approaches and methods for Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR)Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Efficient Consumer Response (ECR)Procurement, e-Commerce, e-auctionsMass Customisation, Order Postponement, ResponsivenessSupplier DevelopmentSupply chain performance managementCollaboration and relationship management approaches in the extended supply chains including supplier networksEnvironmental and sustainability issues in logistics and supply chain including Reverse LogisticsManaging international logistical operations including outsourcingTraining and Education issues in Logistics and Supply Chain ManagementResearch MethodologiesCase studiesAll published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.
IJLSM addresses the development of logistics resources, emphasising the implications that logistics strategies and systems have on organisational productivity and competitiveness in global and electronic markets. Globalisation of markets and logistics services is closely related to the success of a company. This perspective indicates the importance of effective logistics systems and their management for organisational effectiveness and competitiveness. The journal intends to provide executives and academics with the state of the art of logistics systems and supply chain management.
IJLR is dedicated to the publication of research articles, review papers and technical notes in all domains related to low-dose and very low-dose radiation, among which are the biological and health effects in humans and the biota, in vitro and in vivo research on low radiation effects, regulatory and policy aspects, risk estimation and public perception.
