Limnology and Oceanography Letters (L&O Letters)  is a platform for communication of the most innovative and trend-setting research in the aquatic sciences. Manuscripts should present high impact, cutting-edge results, discoveries or conceptual developments in any area of limnology and oceanography or its integration. Manuscripts will be selected based on their broad interest to the field, the strength of their empirical and conceptual foundations; their insightful, succinct and elegant conclusions; and their potential to advance knowledge in the aquatic sciences. Submissions must be short-format articles that are concise, highly focused analyses, with few display items.

Limnology and Oceanography: Methods (ISSN 1541-5856) is a companion to ASLO's top-rated journal Limnology and Oceanography, and articles are held to the same high standards. In order to provide the most rapid publication consistent with high standards, Limnology and Oceanography: Methods appears in electronic format only, and the entire submission and review system is online. Articles are posted as soon as they are accepted and formatted for publication.Limnology and Oceanography: Methods will consider manuscripts whose primary focus is methodological, and that deal with problems in the aquatic sciences. Manuscripts may present new measurement equipment, techniques for analyzing observations or samples, methods for understanding and interpreting information, analyses of metadata to examine the effectiveness of approaches, invited and contributed reviews and syntheses, and techniques for communicating and teaching in the aquatic sciences. Exciting features include author updates to their published methods, and both formal and informal discussion of methods described in the journal.

LINDBERGIA – A journal opposing the tracheophytocentric conception of the world! Our job is to reveal the biological complexity of bryophytes and lichens.LINDBERGIA is a journal issued by the Nordic Bryological Society and the Dutch Bryological and Lichenological Society. Bryologists and lichenologists from all countries are invited to publish original research from any field of bryology and lichenology. All manuscripts are reviewed.LINDBERGIA appears with 1 volume annually. LINDBERGIA is produced at the Oikos Editorial Office in cooperation with the journals Oikos, J. Linear Algebra and its Applications publishes articles that contribute new information or new insights to matrix theory and finite dimensionallinear algebra in their algebraic, arithmetic, combinatorial, geometric, or numerical aspects. It also publishes articles that give significant applications of matrix theory or linear algebra to other branches of mathematics and to other sciences. Articles that provide new information or perspectives on the historical development of matrix theory and linear algebra are also welcome. Expository articles which can serve as an introduction to a subject for workers in related areas and which bring one to the frontiers of research are encouraged. Reviews of books are published occasionally as are conference reports that provide an historical record of major meetings on matrix theory and linear algebra.Articles that have previously been published - fully or in part - in conference or similar proceedings which have been made available outside of the conference should not be submitted for publication in Linear Algebra and Its Applications.In addition to regular issues, special issues are published which focus on a theme of current interest, which honor a prominent individual within the field of linear algebra, or which are devoted to papers presented at a conference. Lingua e Stile was founded in 1966 by Luigi Heilmann and Ezio Raimondi as a meeting point between philosophy of language, linguistics and literary criticism. In 2002, in a very different cultural context, it launched a new biannual series dedicated to the history of the Italian language. The series encompasses various rigorous methodological approaches and presents studies, with a broad range of themes, dedicated to the history of language and dialects in Italy. It also provides a forum for research that touches upon other disciplines, including literary criticism, dialectology, sociolinguistics and philology.

The journal is devoted to the problems of general linguistics. Its aim is to present work of current interest in all areas of linguistics. Contributions are required to contain such general theoretical implications as to be of interest to any linguist, whatever their own specialisation.No particular linguistic theories or scientific trends are favoured: scientific quality and scholarly standing are the only criteria applied in the selection of papers accepted for publication.Lingua publishes papers of any length, if justified, as well as review articles surveying developments in the various fields of linguistics, and occasional discussions. A considerable number of pages in each issue are devoted to critical book reviews. Lingua also publishes Lingua Franca articles consisting of provocative exchanges expressing strong opinions on central topics in linguistics; The Decade In articles which are educational articles offering the nonspecialist linguist an overview of a given area of study; and Taking up the Gauntlet special issues composed of a set number of papers examining one set of data and exploring whose theory offers the most insight with a minimal set of assumptions and a maximum of arguments. Lingua also publishes themed special issues and has the facility to publish supplementary material online, for example, audio and video files.
