Arthropod Systematics & Phylogeny

ISSN: 1863-7221eISSN: 1864-8312
DOAJ Logo

The scope of the journal covers integrative taxonomy, morphology/anatomy, phylogeny (molecular or morphology-based), bio- and phylogeography, and palaeontology. Purely descriptive work, faunistic work, and (usually) work with a strong regional focus are outside the scope. Descriptions of new taxa are welcome, but must be embedded in a novel wider context (e.g. a phylogenetic, evolutionary, or biogeographical framework).

Arthropod-Plant Interactions

ISSN: 1872-8855eISSN: 1872-8847

Arthropod-Plant Interactions is dedicated to publishing high quality original papers and reviews with a broad fundamental or applied focus on ecological, biological, and evolutionary aspects of the interactions between insects and other arthropods with plants. Coverage extends to all aspects of such interactions including chemical, biochemical, genetic, and molecular analysis, as well reporting on multitrophic studies, ecophysiology, and mutualism. Arthropod-Plant Interactions encourages the submission of forum papers that challenge prevailing hypotheses. The journal encourages a diversity of opinion by presenting both invited and unsolicited review papers. The Editor-in-Chief is Heikki M.T. Hokkanen, University of Helsinki, Finland. heikki.hokkanen@helsinki.fi

Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopy & Related Surgery

ISSN: 0749-8063eISSN: 1526-3231

Nowhere is minimally invasive surgery explained better than in Arthroscopy, the leading peer-reviewed journal in the field. Every issue enables you to put into perspective the usefulness of the various emerging arthroscopic techniques. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods -- along with their applications in various situations -- are discussed in relation to their efficiency, efficacy and cost benefit. As a special incentive, paid subscribers also receive access to the journal's expanded website. Online features include full text of all articles, video clips, short reports, and MEDLINE links to related articles.Arthroscopy is ranked 5th of 63 journals in Orthopaedics category on the 2012 Journal Citation Reports®, published by Thomson Reuters, and has an Impact Factor of 3.103.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Arthroskopie

ISSN: 0933-7946eISSN: 1434-3924

Aims & Scope Arthroskopie offers up-to-date review articles and original papers for all medical doctors and scientists working in the field of arthroscopy. The focus is on current developments regarding endoscopic examination and surgery of the joints, diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of related methods, e.g. minimal invasive surgery. Freely submitted original papers allow the presentation of important clinical studies and serve scientific exchange. Comprehensive reviews on a specific topical issue provide evidenced based information on diagnostics and therapy. Review All articles of Arthroskopie are reviewed. Declaration of Helsinki All manuscripts submitted for publication presenting results from studies on probands or patients must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki., .

Artificial Intelligence

ISSN: 0004-3702eISSN: 1872-7921

Artificial Intelligence, which commenced publication in 1970, is now the generally accepted premier international forum for the publication of results of current research in this field. The journal welcomes foundational and applied papers describing mature work involving computational accounts of aspects of intelligence. Specifically, it welcomes papers on:Artificial Intelligence and PhilosophyAutomated reasoning and inferenceCase-based reasoningCognitive aspects of AICommonsense reasoningConstraint processingHeuristic searchHigh-level computer visionIntelligent interfacesIntelligent roboticsKnowledge representationMachine learningMultiagent systemsNatural language processingPlanning and theories of actionReasoning under uncertainty or imprecisionThe journal reports results achieved; proposals for new ways of looking at AI problems must include demonstrations of effectiveness. Papers describing systems or architectures integrating multiple technologies are welcomed. Artificial Intelligence (AIJ) also invites papers on applications, which should describe a principled solution, emphasize its novelty, and present an in-depth evaluation of the AI techniques being exploited. The journal publishes an annual issue devoted to survey articles and also hosts a "competition section" devoted to reporting results from AI competitions. From time to time, there are special issues devoted to a particular topic; such special issues always have open calls.Artificial Intelligence caters to a broad readership. Papers that are heavily mathematical in content are welcome but should be preceded by a less technical introductory section that is accessible to a wide audience. Papers that are only mathematics, without demonstrated applicability to Artificial Intelligence problems may be returned.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
