Die Zeitschrift Clinical Research in Cardiology Supplements bietet ein Forum fu¨r themenbezogene Sonderpublikationen (Supplemente) aus den Bereichen der klinischen Kardiologie, Angiologie sowie Herz- und Gefa¨ßchirurgie. Sie erga¨nzt damit die beiden Zeitschriften Clinical Research in Cardiology (klinische Originalarbeiten) und Basic Research in Cardiology (Originalarbeiten aus der kardiovaskula¨ren Grundlagenforschung). Deutschsprachige Weiterbildung wird fortan durch die neu gegru¨ndete Zeitschrift Der Kardiologe geboten. Die Themenhefte Clinical Research in Cardiology Supplements erscheinen nach Bedarf in unregelma¨ßigen Absta¨nden und stehen in der inhaltlichen Verantwortung eines Gastherausgebers. The journal Clinical Research in Cardiology Supplements provides a forum for special topics from the fields of clinical cardiology, angiology, as well as heart and vascular surgery. It completes the journals Clinical Research in Cardiology (original papers on clinical cardiovascular research) and Basic Research in Cardiology (original papers related to experimental cardiology).

The development of clinical allergy as a discipline of scientific medicine has, until recently, lagged behind that of other subspecialties in internal medicine and pediatrics. The discovery of immunoglobulin E, the development of standardized protocols for allergy skin testing and challenge procedures, and concurrent advances in cell biology have all led to a major thrust by new data in changing the approach to the clinical management of allergic disease. The object of this journal is to publish scholarly review papers, with each issue devoted to a single theme, in an attempt to provide comprehensive treatment of a subject of critical importance to allergists. The journal publishes both experimental papers and comprehensive treatises placing new data in perspective. The ultimate objective is to help improve the care and management of patients with allergic disease.

Clinical Rheumatology is an international English-language journal devoted to publishing original clinical investigation and research in the general field of rheumatology with accent on clinical aspects at postgraduate level. The journal succeeds Acta Rheumatologica Belgica, originally founded in 1945 as the official journal of the Belgian Rheumatology Society. Clinical Rheumatology aims to cover all modern trends in clinical and experimental research as well as the management and evaluation of diagnostic and treatment procedures connected with the inflammatory, immunologic, metabolic, genetic and degenerative soft and hard connective tissue diseases.

Clinical Sarcoma Research publishes articles related to research on sarcomas, both of soft tissue and bone.

Clinical Simulation in Nursing is an international, peer reviewed journal published online monthly. Clinical Simulation in Nursing is the official journal of the International Nursing Association for Clinical and Simulated Learning (INACSL) and the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE). The journal will review and accept articles from other health provider disciplines, if they are determined to be of interest to our readership. Clinical Skin Cancer publishes original articles describing various aspects of clinical and translational research of skin malignancies and is devoted to articles on detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of skin malignancies. Specific areas of interest include clinical research and mechanistic approaches; drug sensitivity and resistance; gene and antisense therapy; pathology, markers, and prognostic indicators; chemoprevention strategies; multimodality therapy; and integration of various approaches. Clinical Therapeutics is dedicated to the dissemination of reliable and evolving evidence derived from clinical pharmacology and other therapeutic approaches to an international audience of scientists and clinicians working in a variety of research, academic, and clinical practice settings. Providing such information is especially important in this era of harmonization and globalization of drug development. Clinical Therapeutics strives to achieve its mission by providing peer-reviewed, rapid publication of recent developments in drug therapies, as well as in-depth review articles on specific agents, treatment strategies, and disease states. Most articles are available online within 20 business days after acceptance. Articles appearing in Clinical Therapeutics are indexed by all major biomedical abstracting databases.Published articles range from pivotal studies exploring new chemical entities in large, multicenter trials to those exploring repurposing of marketed agents. Additionally, pilot studies; reports that assess drug safety and tolerability in all phases of development; new routes of administration and new formulations; pharmacokinetic, bioavailability, bioequivalence and biosimilarity; and changes in practice guidelines and standards, are all of interest for publication. Clinical Therapeutics also understands the importance of strengthening the body of evidence surrounding particular agents through the publication of replication studies, negative trials, and failed trials. Beyond the clinic, we seek reports that examine the real-world implications of therapeutics such as comparative effectiveness and pharmacoeconomics studies as well as work that has implications for health policy. Commentaries, which include perspectives and contemporary issues, are sought to offer a balance of viewpoints and scholarly opinion on a broad array of drug-related topics. Case reports, which remain a vital part of our mission, offer clinically valuable lessons. All manuscripts are peer reviewed by independent clinicians or scientists for clinical relevance, technical accuracy, methodological rigor, clarity, and objectivity using a blind review process.
