The Egyptian Heart Journal aims to publish the highest quality material, both clinical and scientific, on all aspects of Cardiovascular Medicine. It includes articles related to research findings, technical evaluations, and reviews. In addition it provides a forum for the exchange of information on all aspects of Cardiovascular Medicine, including educational issues.
The journal is intended to provide a peer-reviewed source for multidisciplinary coverage of general acute and intensive care medicine and its various subcategories including cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, renal as well as post-operative care.
The journal is proud to have an international multi-professional editorial board in the broad field of critical care that will assist in publishing promising research and breakthrough reports that lead to better patients care in life threatening conditions, and bring the reader a quick access to the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in monitoring and management of critically ill patients.
This is a multi-disciplinary journal that seeks to broaden understanding of the processes that advance or impede human development. Articles published here take a variety of viewpoints including political, economic, sociological and anthropological perspectives. The journal benefits an international readership of academics and practitioners and it is the official journal of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI).
Published five times per year, The European Journal of Development Research includes a peer-reviewed mixture of regular and special-themed issues. Popular recent articles include: Value Chain Upgrading and the Inclusion of Smallholders in Markets; Elaborated Theory of Inclusive Development; and China's Private Enterprises in Africa and the Implications for African Development.
The editors of the journal understand development to be an ongoing process that affects all communities, societies, states and regions. The journal does not have a geographical bias. Studies published here are chosen for their relevance to researchers and practitioners studying human development in different environments. Although most papers examine the challenges that face developing countries, others stress the important lessons to be derived from the experiences of regions in the developed world.
The European Journal of Development Research presents articles that propose policy and developmental tools by analyzing empirical evidence, whether qualitative, quantitative or anecdotal.

The purpose of this journal is to catalyse, foster, and disseminate an awareness and understanding of the historical development of ideas in contemporary physics, and more generally, ideas about how Nature works.  The scope explicitly includes:Contributions addressing the history of physics and of physical ideas and concepts, the interplay of physics and mathematics as well as the natural sciences, and the history and philosophy of sciences, together with discussions of experimental ideas and designs - inasmuch as they clearly relate, and preferably add, to the understanding of modern physics.Annotated and/or contextual translations of relevant foreign-language texts.Careful characterisations of old and/or abandoned ideas including past mistakes and false leads, thereby helping working physicists to assess how compelling contemporary ideas may turn out to be in future, i.e. with hindsight.
The scope explicitly excludes:The publication of new results at the forefront of physics research. <*Authoritative contributions on current insurance and risk practice*Global dissemination to both the corporate and academic markets*Highly topical contentFounded by The Geneva Association in 1973, this prestigious journal still leads its field, publishing papers which both improve the scientific knowledge of the insurance industry and stimulate constructive dialogue between the industry and its economic and social partners. This is a key strategic role for insurance in the modern economy. Each issue of The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance — Issues and Practice is devoted to a relevant topic of contemporary interest. Major topics include: Bank Assurance, Financial Services (regulation and management), New Perspectives in the Welfare State, Developments in the Health Sector, Technological Issues, etc.Published quarterly, this international journal is essential reading for academics and researchers in insurance and their colleagues in the insurance industry, and other professionals who are searching for a deeper insight into the strategic options for their sector. It bridges the gap between these two groups, highlighting converging zones of interest and helping them to find a common direction.Further information about past issues is available at The Geneva Association web site. .
HE GENEVA RISK AND INSURANCE REVIEW (GRIR) strives to publish high quality papers that advance our understanding of industry behavioural changes under uncertainty. The Journal direction is towards economics in general, focusing on risk and insurance in particular. Although most of the papers published are theoretical, GRIR also publishes tests and competing theories in order to expand understanding of insurance economics. The editors are especially interested in new and innovative ideas and see the topic area of 'risk and insurance' rather broadly, encouraging papers from related disciplines.Published twice a year this international journal provides a forum for the exchange of academic findings and views on the technical aspects of risk and insurance economics, whilst also supporting and encouraging research. The journal aims to publish: Authoritative contributions regarding risk, insurance and related areas Theoretical papers as well as empirical and/or experimental research for global dissemination New innovative ideas in insurance economics.
The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging publishes basic and clinical communications (research articles, review articles, technical notes and editorial comments) dealing with the design, development and evaluation of imaging methods used to study cardiovascular diseases; these imaging techniques include Magnetic Resonance, computed tomography, X-ray imaging, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Clinical applications of imaging methods a used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Topics include: multi-center or larger individual studies dealing with risk stratification and imaging utilization, applications for better characterization of cardiovascular diseases, assessment of the efficacy of new drugs and interventional devices. Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and technologies relating to video and digital image acquisition, processing, storage and analysis for cardiovascular imaging.
Target Audience: Physicians and other health care practitioners
Started in 1950 by a group of leading Japanese economists under the title The Economic Studies Quarterly, the journal became the official English language publication of the Japanese Economic Association in 1959. As its successor, The Japanese Economic Review has become the Japanese counterpart of The American Economic Review, publishing substantial economic analysis of the highest quality across the whole field of economics from researchers both within and outside Japan. It also welcomes innovative and thought-provoking contributions with strong relevance to real economic issues, whether political, theoretical or policy-oriented.
