The journal offers comprehensive information concerning physiology, pathology, and biotechnology of reproduction. Topical results are currently published in original papers, reviews, and short communications with particular attention to investigations on practicable techniques. Carefully selected reports, e. g. on embryo transfer and associated biotechnologies, gene transfer, and spermatology provide a link between basic research and clinical application. The journal applies to breeders, veterinarians, and biologists, and is also of interest in human medicine. Interdisciplinary cooperation is documented in the proceedings of the joint annual meetings. Reproduction, Fertility and Development is an international journal for the publication of original and significant contributions related to scientific aspects of reproduction and development, including biology, physiology, biochemistry, endocrinology, immunology, cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, and behaviour, and the development of reproductive technologies in humans, livestock and wildlife, and in pest management. Contributions may take the form of original research articles, critical reviews, and rapid communications.Research articles should report research that addresses a fundamental question in reproductive biology. Descriptive and methodological studies will be assessed according to this criterion. In general, articles dealing with clinical or veterinary practice or the routine application of reproductive technologies are not considered. Reproductive Biology is an international, peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of reproduction in vertebrates. The journal invites original research papers, short communications, review articles and commentaries dealing with reproductive physiology, endocrinology, immunology, molecular and cellular biology, receptor studies, animal breeding as well as andrology, embryology, infertility, assisted reproduction and contraception. Ringing & Migration is the journal of the British Trust for Ornithology Ringing Scheme. Published since 1975, the December issue incorporates the Trust's annual report on bird ringing in Britain & Ireland for the preceding year. The journal welcomes papers on all aspects of bird ringing and migration studies but gives lowest priority to papers involved with methodology alone. Members of the Editorial Board are very happy to advise first-time authors on the preparation of manuscripts.
