EvoDevo

eISSN: 2041-9139
DOAJ Logo

EvoDevo publishes articles on a broad range of topics associated with the translation of genotype to phenotype in a phylogenetic context. Understanding the history of life, the evolution of novelty and the generation of form, whether through embryogenesis, budding, or regeneration are amongst the greatest challenges in biology. We support the understanding of these processes through the many complementary approaches that characterize the field of evo-devo. The focus of the journal is on research that promotes understanding of the pattern and process of morphological evolution.

Evolutionary Bioinformatics

eISSN: 1176-9343
DOAJ Logo

An international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on evolutionary bioinformatics. There is growing awareness that to understand organismal form and function, through the use of molecular, genetic, genomic, and proteomic data, due consideration must be given to an organism's evolutionary context - history constrains the path an organism is obliged to take, and leaves an indelible mark on its component parts. Evolutionary Bioinformatics publishes papers on all aspects of computational evolutionary biology and evolutionary bioinformatics.

Experimental Gerontology

ISSN: 0531-5565

Experimental Gerontology is a multidisciplinary journal for the publication of work from all areas of biogerontology, with an emphasis on studies focused at the systems level of investigation, such as whole organisms (e.g. invertebrate genetic models), immune, endocrine and cellular systems, as well as whole population studies (e.g. epidemiology). The journal also publishes studies into the behavioural and cognitive consequences of aging, where a clear biological causal link is implicated.Studies aimed at bridging the gap between basic and clinical aspects of gerontology, such as papers on the basic aspects of age-related diseases, are welcomed, as is research orientated toward the modulation of the aging process.Manuscripts on social aspects of aging and reports on clinical studies do not fall within the scope of the journal. In addition to original research manuscripts, short reports, reviews, mini-reviews, commentaries, perspectives, meeting reports and opinions on controversial subjects are published."Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
