Scope and subject areas Experimental Physiology publishes Research Papers which report the results of original research in most areas of physiology (follow link below for table). These are normally limited to 6,000 words including legends and references Papers should embrace the journal's orientation of translation and integration. Specifically, we are keen to receive manuscripts that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular and whole animal approaches. In addition pertinent methodological papers are encouraged as are manuscripts that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes. The official journal of the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (IJBNPA) publishes articles focusing on the behavioral features of diet and physical activity.
