Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery

eISSN: 2332-0885

The new open access journal Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery is born from the Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery, to serve as a unique international forum for case reports in plastic surgery, hand surgery and related research.

The scope of the journal is to quickly bring to the scientific community new trends and uncommon observation with scientific and clinical value, as it can be reported by case reports without paying any delay due to collection of large series before publishing.

Subjects are related to plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, including cranio-maxillofacial, cleft lip and palate surgery, and hand surgery concerning:
  • Original operative methods
  • Newly discovered syndromes
  • Rare complications
All submitted case reports will be peer reviewed and extended collections of case reports may be published occasionally, dealing with special topics such as microvascular surgery, craniofacial surgery or burns.

Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery is an online only and open access journal funded by author fees. The journal is published on behalf of the non-for-profit Acta Chirurgica Scandinavica Society.
