Cancer Research is the most frequently cited cancer journal in the world. The journal publishes original studies, reviews, and opinion pieces offering significance and broad impact to a diverse audience spanning basic, preclinical, clinical, prevention and epidemiological research. Cancer Research seeks manuscripts that offer pathobiological and translational impact to inform the personal, clinical, and societal problems posed by cancer. The main scope of the Journal is captured in its primary subsections, which focus on molecular and cellular pathobiology, tumor and stem cell biology, therapeutics and targets, microenvironment and immunology, prevention and epidemiology, and integrated systems and technology.
Cancer Science (formerly Japanese Journal of Cancer Research) aims to present research that has a significant clinical impact on oncologists or that may alter the disease concept of a tumor. The Journal publishes original articles and editorials, letters to the editor, review articles and reports describing original research in the fields of basic, translational and clinical cancer. Subject categories include:

The transformation of biology from a descriptive, phenomenological discipline to one in which the regulatory principles are understood and predictably manipulated brings new opportunities to the study of cancer and the search for effective therapeutic modalities. Cancer and Metastasis Reviews offers a forum for critical review and discussion of these challenges. Each issue presents five to seven different contributions on a single theme or topic, with an introductory essay from a distinguished individual in the field. Special emphasis is placed on subjects of relevance to the molecular and cellular biology of cancer metastasis and tumor progression, as well as to the treatment of metastatic disease. Occasional issues will be devoted to an in-depth clinical and biological analysis of a particular type of cancer. The journal also reviews important recent developments in the biology and treatment of malignant disease, and highlights promising new directions.
Cells (ISSN 2073-4409) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to cell biology, molecular biology and biophysics. It publishes reviews, research articles, communications and technical notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided. There are, in addition, unique features of this journal:, , manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed, electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure - if unable to be published in a normal way - can be deposited as supplementary material, we also accept manuscripts communicating to a broader audience with regard to research projects financed with public funds.
Carcinogenesis: Integrative Cancer Research is a multi-disciplinary journal that brings together all the varied aspects of research that will ultimately lead to the prevention of cancer in man. The journal will publish papers that warrant prompt publication in the areas of Cancer Biology (including the processes of promotion, progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, genomic instability, growth factors, cell and molecular biology, mutation, DNA repair, genetics, etc.), Molecular Epidemiology (including genetic predisposition to cancer, and epidemiology), Cancer Prevention (including molecular dosimetry, chemoprevention, nutrition and cancer, etc.), and Carcinogenesis (including viral, chemical and physical carcinogenesis, metabolism of carcinogens, and the formation, detection, identification and quantification of environmental carcinogens).
Case Reports in Oncology is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original case studies covering the entire spectrum of oncology, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, toxicities of therapy, supportive care, quality-of-life, and survivorship issues. The journal will also accept case reports dealing with the use of novel technologies, both in the area of diagnosis and treatment. In this forum, clinicians and researchers can communicate their findings to a broader oncology community. The authors may also provide supplementary material free of charge.
Cellular Oncology publishes scientific contributions from various biomedical and clinical disciplines involved in basic and translational cancer research on the cell and tissue level, technical and bioinformatics developments in this area, and clinical applications. This includes a variety of fields like genome technology, micro-arrays and other high-throughput techniques, genomic instability, SNP, DNA methylation, signaling pathways, DNA organization, (sub)microscopic imaging, proteomics, bioinformatics, functional effects of genomics, drug design and development, molecular diagnostics and targeted cancer therapies, genotype-phenotype interactions. A major goal is to translate the latest developments in these fields from the research laboratory into routine patient management. To this end Cellular Oncology will form a platform of scientific information exchange between molecular biologists and geneticists, technical developers, pathologists, (medical) oncologist and other clinicians involved in the managemen
Chemotherapy publishes original research articles and state-of-the-art reviews on all aspects of antimicrobial and antitumor chemotherapy. The results of experimental and clinical investigations into the microbiological and pharmacological properties of antibacterial, antiviral, and antitumor compounds are major topics of publication. Papers selected for the journal offer data concerning the efficacy, toxicology, and interactions of new drugs in single or combined applications. Studies designed to determine the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of similar preparations and comparing their efficacy are also included. Special emphasis is given to the development of drug resistance, an increasing problem worldwide.
