Kinematics and Physics of Celestial Bodies is concerned with the physical, integral properties of celestial bodies, kinematic astronomy and its base, astrometry. The journal publishes original and review papers on such topics as: Positional and theoretical astronomy; Earth's rotation and geodynamics; Dynamics and physics of bodies of the Solar System; Solar physics; Physics of stars and the interstellar medium; Structure and dynamics of the Galaxy; Extragalactic astronomy; Atmospheric optics and astronomical climate; Instruments and devices; Databases and more. The journal places an emphasis on structure and dynamics of the Galaxy, as well as on extragalactic astronomy. This journal is as much devoted to astronomical data, methods, and theoretical foundations for their collection, as it is to constructing dynamic and physical models for their interpretation. The journal is published under the auspices of the Division of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
LEUKOS, The Journal of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America is an online, quarterly journal edited by David L. Dilaura.
Langmuir focuses on the science and engineering of systems and materials in which the interface dominates structure and function. Manuscript submissions on the rational design of interfaces, including new applied and fundamental concepts in emerging areas, are welcome.
The following topics are examples within the scope of Langmuir:
Reviewers of Langmuir manuscripts will be asked the following questions.
Laser Physics offers a comprehensive view of theoretical and experimental laser research and applications. Articles cover every aspect of modern laser physics and quantum electronics, emphasizing physical effects in various media (solid, gaseous, liquid) leading to the generation of laser radiation; peculiarities of propagation of laser radiation; problems involving impact of laser radiation on various substances and the emerging physical effects, including coherent ones; the applied use of lasers and laser spectroscopy; the processing and storage of information; and more.
Laser Physics Letters encompasses all aspects of laser physics sciences including, inter alia, spectroscopy, quantum electronics, quantum optics, quantum electrodynamics, nonlinear optics, atom optics, quantum computation, quantum information processing and storage, fiber optics and their applications in chemistry, biology, engineering and medicine.
Laser and Particle Beams is an international journal which deals with basic physics issues of intense laser and particle beams, and the interaction of these beams with matter. Research on pulse power technology associated with beam generation is also of strong interest. Subjects covered include the physics of high energy densities; non-LTE phenomena; hot dense matter and related atomic, plasma and hydrodynamic physics and astrophysics; intense sources of coherent radiation; high current particle accelerators; beam-wave interaction; and pulsed power technology.
Laser & Photonics Reviews is an international journal which covers the current range of laser physics and photonics, both theoretical and experimental, from recent research to specific developments and novel applications. Every issue contains invited review articles and topical reports.
The aim of Letters in Mathematical Physics is to attract the community's attention on important and original developments in the area of mathematical physics and contemporary theoretical physics. The journal publishes letters and longer research articles, occasionally also articles containing topical reviews. We are committed to both fast publication and careful refereeing. In addition, the journal offers important contributions to modern mathematics in fields which have a potential physical application, and important developments in theoretical physics which have potential mathematical impact.
Manuscripts in the following areas are being considered:
optical materials, organic optoelectronics, optical data transmission, optical measurement, small-scale optics, optics in life science and the environment
