Nanomedicine provides a unique medical-focused forum to address the important challenges and advances in medical nanoscale-structured material and devices, biotechnology devices and molecular machine systems and nanorobotics, delivering this essential information in concise, clear and attractive article formats. The journal is a valuable information source for all players in the field – academic, industrial and clinical researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, regulatory authorities and others across the scientific community. The nanomedicine field is still in its infancy, however, in the next few years there will be further exciting developments in engineering, chemistry, physics and medical science, with researchers working together under the nanomedicine umbrella. Narrative Inquiry is devoted to providing a forum for theoretical, empirical, and methodological work on narrative. Articles appearing in Narrative Inquiry draw upon a variety of approaches and methodologies in the study of narrative as a way to give contour to experience, tradition, and values to next generations. Particular emphasis is placed on theoretical approaches to narrative and the analysis of narratives in human interaction, including those practiced by researchers in psychology, linguistics and related disciplines.

National Identities explores the formation and expression of national identity from antiquity to the present day. It examines the role in forging identity of cultural (language, architecture, music, gender, religion, the media, sport, encounters with 8216;the other' etc.) and political (state forms, wars, boundaries) factors, by examining how these have been shaped and changed over time. The historical significance of 8216;nation'in political and cultural terms is considered in relationship to other important and in some cases countervailing forms of identity such as religion, region, tribe or class. The focus is on identity, rather than on contingent political forms that may express it. The journal is not prescriptive or proscriptive in its approach. Instead, it acts as a forum within which the growing number of scholars working in this field can explore this important subject. Nationalism & Ethnic Politics explores the varied political aspects of nationalism and ethnicity in order to develop more constructive inter-group relations. The journal publishes case studies and comparative and theoretical analyses. It deals with pluralism, ethno-nationalism, irredentism, separatism, and related phenomena, and examines processes and theories of ethnic identity formation, mobilization, conflict and accommodation in the context of political development and 'nation-building'. The journal compares and contrasts state and community claims, and deal with such factors as citizenship, race, religion, economic development, immigration, language, and the international environment. Peer Review Policy:All articles submitted to this journal undergo a 8220;double-blind8221; anonymous peer review by at least two referees. Submission Guidelines:Manuscripts should not exceed 9,500 words (including notes and references). The article should begin with an indented and italicized abstract of 100 words, which describes the main arguments and conclusions of the article. The details of the author's institutional affiliation, full address and contact information, the exact length of the article, a brief biographical description (about 40 words), and any acknowledgments should be included on a separate cover-sheet. Manuscripts are sent out for anonymous review; consequently we would encourage authors to refrain from posting their name or affiliation on any materials that may be sent out to referees (i.e. the manuscript itself and associated graphical presentations). Finally, the journal prefers numerical superscript to parenthetical notation and encourages authors to abide by these guidelines when citing. Nationalism is one of the central issues of the modern world. Since the demise of the Soviet Union there has been a proliferation of nationalist and ethnic conflicts. The consequent explosion of interest in ethnicity and nationalism has created an urgent need for systematic study in this field. Nations and Nationalism aims to satisfy this need. As a scholarly, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journal, it is designed to respond to the rapid growth of research in the study of nationalism and nationalist movements throughout the world.

This journal is devoted to semantics and its interfaces in grammar, especially syntax. It encourages the convergence of approaches employing the concepts of logic and philosophy with perspectives of generative grammar on the relations between meaning and structure. Natural Language Semantics publishes studies focused on linguistic phenomena, including quantification, negation, modality, genericity, tense, aspect, aktionsarten, focus, presuppositions, anaphora, definiteness, plurals, mass nouns, adjectives, adverbial modification, nominalization, ellipsis, and interrogatives. The journal features mainly research articles, but also short squibs as well as remarks on and replies to pertinent books and articles.

Natural Language & Linguistic Theory provides a forum for the discussion of theoretical research that pays close attention to natural language data, offering a channel of communication between researchers of a variety of points of view. The journal actively seeks to bridge the gap between descriptive work and work of a highly theoretical, less empirically oriented nature. In attempting to strike this balance, the journal presents work that makes complex language data accessible to those unfamiliar with the language area being studied and work that makes complex theoretical positions more accessible to those working outside the theoretical framework under review. Over the years the number of delegates and countries participating have both increased, with an attendance of 13,482 people in 2009. This study investigates how the representation of developing nations has been affected.

Nature and Culture is a forum for the international community of scholars and practitioners to present, discuss, and evaluate critical issues and themes related to the historical and contemporary relationships that societies, civilizations, empires, regions, nation-states have with Nature. The journal contains a serious interpolation of theory, methodology, criticism, and concrete observation forming the basis of this discussion. The mission of the journal is to move beyond specialized disciplinary enclaves and mind-sets toward broader syntheses that encompass time, space and structures in understanding the Nature-Culture relationship.
