Each month, Advances in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery features abstracts of material from recent publications and presentations, followed by comments from specialists in the field. Oral presentations will be made in specific sessions, some of which will be introduced by a keynote. The total time allocated to each presentation is 12 minutes, but you should allow 2-3 minutes of these for discussion. For much of the time, there will be parallel sessions located in rooms in the same conference area, but it will be very easy to move between rooms. Therefore, it is essential that speakers keep to the time schedule and do not exceed the time allocated. Chairpersons will be under strict instruction to stop any presentation that is running over time. The use of video equipment is not allowed.

The Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery is an international journal, and the official journal of both the International Society of Feline Medicine) and the American Association of Feline Practitioners).

The Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP) is a monthly peer-reviewed publication integrating clinical research papers and case reports from international sources, covering all aspects of medicine and surgery relating to dogs, cats and other small animals. These papers facilitate the dissemination and implementation of new ideas and techniques relating to clinical veterinary practice, with the ultimate aim of promoting best practice. The JSAP publishes high quality original articles, as well as other scientific and educational information. New developments are placed in perspective, encompassing new concepts and peer commentary. The target audience is veterinarians primarily engaged in the practise of small animal medicine and surgery.

D'intérêt européen, un grand nombre d'articles font l'objet de reprints dans l'EJCAP (European Journal of Companion Animal Practice), publication officielle de la FECAVA (Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations), Revue Vétérinaire Clinique diffuse par ailleurs un certain nombre de ses articles directement en anglais dans ses propres colonnes. Des résumés exhaustifs et structurés sont systématiquement fournis pour chaque article en anglais et en français.

The journal Tierärztliche Praxis with its two editions (Edition K: Kleintiere/Heimtiere, small animals; and Edition G: Grosstiere/Nutztiere, large animals) is the only German veterinary journal which clearly focuses on the differing information needs of small animal or large animal veterinarians. It aims to bridge gaps between latest developments in clinical veterinary medicine and the needs and knowledge of practitioners.
