Applied Psychology: An International Review is the official journal of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), the oldest worldwide association of scholars and practitioners of the discipline of psychology (founded in 1920). Applied Psychology: An International Review is a peer-reviewed, truly international outlet for the scholarly dissemination of findings in applied psychology. Articles are encouraged from all areas of applied psychology including, but not limited to, organizational, cross-cultural, educational, health, counseling, sport and environmental psychology. Particularly invited are articles that advance understanding of psychological processes across a range of applied phenomena and studies that examine the effects of different national and cultural contexts. For example, topics such as personality traits and processes, self-regulation, self-efficacy, goals, emotions, values, attitudes, social identity, judgments and decisions, leadership, learning, or instructional design examined within applied domains or cross-culturally. Review papers that stimulate debate and discussion are also encouraged. Three types of freely submitted articles appear in Applied Psychology: Journal Articles describe important research or theoretical developments for specific issues; Lead Articles review and extend a body of research at a critical juncture and are supplemented with peer commentaries to create an international scientific discussion; and International Replication Notes provide replications of known phenomena in new cultural contexts. The International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IJSEP) publishes empirical and theoretical contributions in the science of physical activity, human movement, exercise, and sport. The journal's Editors and Editorial Board encourage researchers and scholars worldwide to submit their work for publication, since the journal emphasizes its international perspective. Emotion Review (EMR) is a peer reviewed, quarterly published journal in association with the International Society for Research on Emotion (ISRE). The aim of the journal is to publish theoretical, conceptual and review papers (often with commentaries) to enhance scientific understanding of emotion theory and research. Content: Military Psychology is the quarterly journal of Division 19 (Society for Military Psychology) of the American Psychological Association. The journal seeks to facilitate the scientific development of military psychology by encouraging communication between researchers and practitioners. The domain of military psychology is the conduct of research or practice of psychological principles within a military environment. The journal publishes behavioral science research articles having military applications in the areas of clinical and health psychology, training and human factors, manpower and personnel, social and organizational systems, and testing and measurement. Topics of major concern to military psychology will be covered in special journal issues. Clinical Child and Family Psychology Review is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that provides an international, interdisciplinary forum for new developments and in-depth reviews on current thought and practices. IJP seeks to support the IUPsyS in fostering the development of international psychological science.
