Cognitive Systems Research covers all topics in the study of cognitive processes, in both natural and artificial systems. The journal seeks top-quality contributions and encourages, in particular, articles that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries (in terms of implications or in terms of approaches).(1) The journal emphasizes the integration/synthesis of ideas, concepts, constructs, theories, and techniques from multiple paradigms, perspectives, and disciplines, in the analysis, understanding, and design of cognitive and intelligent systems.(2) Contributions describing results obtained within the traditional disciplines (e.g., psychology, artificial intelligence) using well-established paradigms are also sought (especially if such work has broader implications and relevance).The journal seeks to foster and promote the discussion of novel approaches in studying cognitive and intelligent systems. It also encourages cross-fertilization of disciplines. This is to be achieved by soliciting and publishing high-quality contributions in all of the areas of study in cognitive science, including artificial intelligence, linguistics, psychology, psychiatry, philosophy, system and control theory, anthropology, sociology, biological sciences, and neuroscience. The scope of the journal includes the study of a variety of different cognitive systems, at different levels, ranging from social/cultural cognition, to individual cognitive agents, to components of cognitive systems. Journal of Children and Media is an interdisciplinary and multi-method peer-reviewed publication that provides a space for discussion by scholars and professionals from around the world and across theoretical and empirical traditions who are engaged in the study of media in the lives of children and adolescents. It is a unique intellectual forum for the exchange of information about all forms and contents of media in regards to all aspects of children’s lives, and especially in three complementary realms: Children as consumers of media, representations of children in the media, and media organizations and productions for children as well as by them. It is committed to the facilitation of international dialogue among researchers and professionals, through discussion of interaction between children and media in local, national, and global contexts; concern for diversity issues; a critical and empirical inquiry informed by a variety of theoretical and empirical approaches; and dedication to ensuring the social relevance of the academic knowledge it produces to the cultural, political, and personal welfare of children around the world.

All articles in Journal of Children and Media have undergone editorial screening and double blind peer review.

Alongside the primary articles, Journal of Children and Media includes a regular ‘Review and Commentary’ section devoted to shorter pieces such as book reviews, suggestions for new directions in theory and research, notes on work-in-progress, commentary on developments within the field of children and media, responses to past journal articles, contributions to pedagogy and informal education practices, commentary on media production for children and media literacy programs, and reflections on ways to bridge the concerns of academia and activism.

The Infant Mental Health Journal (IMHJ) is the official publication of the World Association for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH) and is copyrighted by the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health. The Infant Mental Health Journal publishes peer-reviewed research articles, literature reviews, program descriptions/evaluations, clinical studies, and book reviews that focus on infant social-emotional development, caregiver-infant interactions, contextual and cultural influences on infant and family development, and all conditions that place infants and/or their families at risk for less than optimal development. The journal is dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to the optimal development of infants and their families, and therefore, welcomes submissions from all disciplinary perspectives.

New Genetics and Society aims: * To provide a focus for interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary, leading-edge social science research on the new genetics and related biosciences; * To publish theoretical and empirical contributions reflecting its multi-faceted development; * To provide an international platform for critical reflection and debate; * To be the primary resource for the many related professions, including health, medicine and the law, wishing to keep abreast of fast changing developments.
