Eastern African Literary & Cultural Studies ( EALCS) is a new international peer-reviewed journal which offers a distinctive, integrated forum for scholarship on the literature, culture and arts of the Eastern Africa region and their widespread influence. The arts and culture have played an instrumental role in the post-colonial project, and indeed in the forging of twenty-first century identities and realities, where they have actively engaged with ideas from other fields including economics, politics, history, and religion. This dynamic interface is explored in the journal. Exceptional creative work from and about the region is also considered for publication. The journal invites submissions of research articles, review essays, roundtable debates, interviews, creative work, book reviews and conference alerts.

Manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind and detailed Instructions for Authors can be found here.  

The History of Economics Review (HER) is a peer-reviewed journal. After an initial screening by the editors, submissions are sent to two referees. Anonymity of authors and referees is preserved. Papers, comments and book reviews written by established international scholars and early career academics appear in HER. Although it is the journal of the History of Economic Thought Society of Australia (HETSA), submissions are invited from across the full range of the history of economic thought regardless of geography or era. The current Editorial Board is drawn from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Europe and the US.

The Journal of Iberian and Latin American Studies is an international journal devoted to the history and cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. "Its main purpose is to disseminate research of the highest standards in the areas of early modern, modern and contemporary history. This includes work in the area of cultural production that is historically grounded.

The Journal of Iberian and Latin American Studies publishes three issues per year. All articles will be published in English. In addition to research articles, the journal has a section of Reviews providing critical reviews of recent publications as well as longer Review Articles on specific topics. The Editorial Board can request or accept proposals of monographic issues.

Phytochemistry Reviews is an international review journal that publishes peer-reviewed papers in four issues annually. The journal examines topical issues, some of which result from meetings organized by the Phytochemical Society of Europe. The journal also presents original review papers advancing knowledge of plants in respect to their chemistry, function, biosynthesis, effects on other plants, animal physiology and pathology. Also covered is the application of such knowledge in agriculture and industry. Discourse Processes is a multidisciplinary journal providing a forum for cross-fertilization of ideas from diverse disciplines sharing a common interest in discourse--prose comprehension and recall, dialogue analysis, text grammar construction, computer simulation of natural language, cross-cultural comparisons of communicative competence, or related topics. The problems posed by multisentence contexts and the methods required to investigate them, although not always unique to discourse, are sufficiently distinct so as to require an organized mode of scientific interaction made possible through the journal. The journal accepts original experimental or theoretical papers that substantially advance understanding of the structure and function of discourse. Scholars working in the discourse area from the perspective of sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse psychology, text linguistics, ethnomethodology and sociology of language, education, philosophy of language, computer science, and related subareas are invited to contribute. New ways of studying discourse processes in their full complexity can require new ways of presenting data and analyses. The electronic version of Discourse Processes allows access to multimedia (video and/or audio) content when it appropriately augments the presentation of a particular piece. The Journal of Poetry Therapy (JPT), sponsored by the National Association for Poetry Therapy, is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal committed to the publication of original articles concerned with the use of the literary arts in therapeutic, educational, and community-building capacities. The purview of the JPT includes the use of bibliotherapy, journal therapy, creative writing, narrative, lyrics, storytelling, and metaphor in human service settings. As the Cold War ended in the early 1990s, scholars of contemporary international affairs started taking a new look at the basic conflicts that had dominated the latter part of the twentieth century. Over the last fifteen years a new historical literature on the Cold War era has come into being, greatly helped by the increase in access to archives and other source materials in most countries of the world, from the former Communist states in Europe, to China, to South Africa and elsewhere. Cold War History is based in the Cold War Studies Programme at LSE IDEAS, the London School of Economics Centre for International Affairs, Strategy and Diplomacy. It aims to make available the results of recent research on the origins and development of the Cold War and its impact on nations, alliances and regions at various levels of statecraft, as well as in areas such as the military and intelligence, the economy, and social and intellectual developments. The new history of the Cold War is a fascinating example of how experts -- often working across national and disciplinary boundaries -- are able to use newly available information to refine, or in some cases destroy, old images and interpretations. Cold War History aims at publishing the best of this emerging scholarship, from a perspective that attempts to de-centre the era through paying special attention to the role of Europe and the Third World. The journal welcomes contributions from historians and representatives of other disciplines on all aspects of the global Cold War and its present repercussions. Advances in Eating Disorders: Theory, Research, & Practice is committed to providing a leading forum dedicated to the study and treatment of eating disorders by publishing high quality articles that offer an integrated perspective to these complex conditions. 
The journal covers all the traditional eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder, but also any form of disturbed eating behaviour, across the life span and in all cultural contexts. The specific and unique emphasis of this journal is its focus on combining theory, research and practice. Submissions should draw on at least two of these aspects, but preferably make reference to all three, either through their primary focus, or through the inclusion of a section specifically focusing on the integration.
