Comedy Studies reflects the increasingly cross-disciplinary and international nature of studies into comedy and documents exciting and innovative research into this hitherto under-represented field. Comedy Studies is the only globally accessible journal that provides a forum for research in comedy studies, and its relation to other disciplines: theatre/ performance, film, TV, art, music, philosophy, sociology, psychology, media, science, cultural studies, gender studies, science and history are all discussed in the journal’s research. Comedy Studies is a dynamic, innovative academic journal, that discusses the all aspects of comedy and we are always looking for new contributors and collaborators.

Comedy Studies publishes full length articles (up to 6,000 words) and will always consider contributions from Ph.D. candidates to help increase their research profiles. The journal also publishes interviews, reviews, original art work, photography and illustrations. We will also consider guest editors, special editions of conference papers and conference ideas.

All articles in Comedy Studies have undergone rigorous peer review, based on anonymised refereeing by two anonymous referees. Instructions for Authors can be found here. 

Eating and Weight Disorders. Studies on Anorexia, Bulimia, and Obesity (EWD) is a quarterly international e-only journal for research and treatment of eating disorders and obesity. The months of publication are March, June, September and December.   EWD publishes peer-reviewed articles and is intended to provide an interdisciplinary forum devoted to the sectors of eating disorders and obesity and the significant interrelationships between them. BIOLOGY OF SPORT publishes reports of methodological and experimental work on science of sport, natural sciences, medicine and pharmacology, technical siences, biocybernetics and application of statistics and psychology, with priority for inter-discyplinary papers. Brief reviews of monographic papers on problems of sport, information on recent developments in research equipment and training aids, are also published. Papers are invided from researchers, coaches and all authors engaged in problems of trining effects, selection in sport as well as biological and social effects of athletic activity durning various periods of man's ontogenetic development.

The IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems (TCDS) focuses on advances in the study of development and cognition in natural (humans, animals) and artificial (robots, agents) systems. It welcomes contributions from multiple related disciplines including cognitive systems, cognitive robotics, developmental and epigenetic robotics, autonomous and evolutionary robotics, social structures, multi-agent and artificial life systems, computational neuroscience, and developmental psychology. Articles on theoretical, computational, application-oriented, and experimental studies as well as reviews in these areas are considered.

Journal of Family and Economic Issues is an interdisciplinary publication that explores the intricate relationship between the family and its economic environment. Peer-reviewed contributions address important issues in family management, household division of labor and productivity, relationships between economic and non-economic decisions, and interrelations between work and family life, among others. The journal features: original and applied research: critical reviews: integrative theoretical articles: and reviews of significant books on the field.

Sleep and Biological Rhythms is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Sleep Research, and publishes original research articles dealing with sleep and wakefulness, including biological rhythms. Papers in basic science, medicine and social science relating to sleep and/or biological rhythms will be considered for publication. Both members and non-members of the Japanese Society of Sleep Research are welcome to submit papers to the journal.

The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health publishes any original research or evidence-based review that will directly impact clinical practice or child health across the disciplines of general paediatrics, adolescent medicine, child development, or any paediatric subspecialty.
