The Alexandria Journal of Medicine is an international peer reviewed journal, concerned with providing a venue for publication of all aspects of human diseases including basic and clinical aspects with a particular focus on diseases of high prevalence in the Middle East and its comparison to their profile in the rest of the world. Manuscripts from other world regions are welcome, to increase the scientific exchange between the different world regions. Such an exchange would increase the opportunities for international collaborative research, especially that there is a broad range of readers from the region and worldwide.

Towards this end, the AJME publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, clinical trials in an open access format. For a detailed description of the different types of manuscripts, the readers can consult the online guide for authors. The material is subject to editorial revision. Papers describing research involving human subjects and the procedures followed should be in accordance with the ethical standards. Articles containing promotional material (advertisements), whether implicit or explicit will not be included in the Journal.

Medical Journal Armed Forces India (MJAFI) is a quarterly, peer reviewed international publication. The Journal is published quarterly by Elsevier, a division of Reed-Elsevier (India) Private Limited. It is circulated to all members of Armed Forces Medical Services of India, all medical college libraries of India and subscribers. The full text of the journal is available online at: http//www.mjafi.org. The journal allows full access to its contents on registration. The journal does not charge for submission, processing, publication of manuscripts or for color reproduction of photographs. Medical Journal Armed Forces India (MJAFI) publishes original articles, case reports, review articles, editorials, short communications, contemporary issues, letters to editor, book reviews and other scientific information in all disciplines of medical science. The members of Armed forces of India Medical Services are contributing to international literature, besides there are problems specific to this region and the solutions for them need to be exchanged and this Journal makes a great contribution to disseminate the knowledge amongst its members.The Editorial Board comprises eminent specialists and consultants from India and abroad. Although preference is given to original work carried out in the Indian subcontinent, contributions are welcome from anywhere in the world.

Weed Research is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes topical and innovative papers on weed science, in the English language. It is the official journal of the European Weed Research Society. Papers are taken on all aspects of weeds, defined as plants that impact adversely on economic, aesthetic or environmental aspects of any system. Topics include, amongst others, weed biology and control, herbicides, invasive plant species in all environments, population and spatial biology, modelling, genetics, biodiversity and parasitic plants. The journal welcomes submissions on work carried out in any part of the world. In addition to research papers, the journal also seeks review articles and shorter insights papers covering personal views, new methods and breaking news in weed science. The criteria Editors use for accepting manuscripts for publication are originality, relevance, scientific rigour and the clarity of presentation. The journal accepts approximately 40% of submitted manuscripts and the time taken from submission to publication is 11.5 months.

Contemporary Levant is an international peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal of the Council for British Research in the Levant (CBRL), a British Academy-sponsored institute. The journal publishes original research on contemporary politics, society and culture in the Levant region, its diasporas and neighbouring countries that have a clear relevance to it. The African Journal of Emergency Medicine (AfJEM) is the official journal of the African Federation for Emergency Medicine. It is an international, peer-reviewed journal aimed in particular at supporting emergency care across Africa. AfJEM publishes original research, reviews, brief reports of scientific investigations, case reports as well as commentary and correspondence related to topics of scientific, ethical, social and economic importance to emergency care in Africa. Articles will be of direct importance to African emergency care, but may have originated from elsewhere in the world.

Alcohol is an international, peer-reviewed journal that is devoted to publishing multi-disciplinary biomedical research on all aspects of the actions or effects of alcohol on the nervous system or on other organ systems. Quantitative Science Studies is the official open access journal of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI). It will publish theoretical and empirical research on science and the scientific workforce. Submissions are encouraged from a range of disciplinary orientations, as long as science remains the object of inquiry.
