The journal provides very rapid publication of short but complete research reports in the field of psychiatry. The scope of the journal encompasses: (1) Biochemical, physiological, genetic, psychological, and social determinants of human behavior;(2) Assessment of human behavior and subjective state;(3) Evaluation of somatic and non-somatic psychiatric treatments.In addition, reports of clinically related basic studies in the fields of neuropharmacology, neurochemistry, neuroendocrinology, electrophysiology, psychology, genetics, and brain imaging are published. Editorial Transition Justice Quarterly (JQ) is an official publication of the ACJS. JQ is a refereed, multi-disciplinary journal that publishes theoretical, empirical and interpretive studies of issues related to criminal justice. JQ is indexed in Criminology and Penology Abstracts, Police Science Abstracts, Criminal Justice Periodical Index, and Criminal Justice Abstracts. In the past decade, JQ has become a premier journal and it continues to be a major forum for criminal justice related scholarship, making it an essential part of any library's holdings. Peer Review Policy: All work appearing in this journal has undergone editorial screening and peer review.

Function publishes original full research articles, but also short Focus articles that report an important new observation, based on solid evidence, but without the full exploration required for a full paper. All full research articles will be accompanied by a perspective article, written by an acknowledged expert in the field. A new type of Evidence Review article, quoting only original papers, will be commissioned from leading experts, but suggestions for such articles are welcome. The Harvard Review of Psychiatry is the authoritative source for scholarly reviews and perspectives on a diverse range of important topics in psychiatry. Founded by the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry, the journal is peer-reviewed and not industry sponsored. It is the property of President and Fellows of Harvard College and is affiliated with all of the Departments of Psychiatry at the Harvard teaching hospitals. Articles encompass all major issues in contemporary psychiatry, including (but not limited to) neuroscience, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, history of psychiatry, and ethics. Boreas has been published since 1972. Articles of wide international interest from all branches of Quaternary research are published. Biological as well as non-biological aspects of the Quaternary environment, in both glaciated and non-glaciated areas, are dealt with: Climate, shore displacement, glacial features, landforms, sediments, organisms and their habitat, and stratigraphical and chronological relationships. Anticipated international interest, at least within a continent or a considerable part of it, is a main criterion for the acceptance of papers.
