Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry is a forum for the review of areas of keen and topical interest to medicinal chemists and others in the allied disciplines. Each issue is solely devoted to a specific topic, containing six to nine reviews, which provide the reader a comprehensive survey of that area. A Guest Editor who is an expert in the topic under review, will assemble each issue. The scope of Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry will cover all areas of medicinal chemistry, including current developments in rational drug design, synthetic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, high-throughput screening, combinatorial chemistry, compound diversity measurements, drug absorption, drug distribution, metabolism, new and emerging drug targets, natural products, pharmacogenomics, and structure-activity relationships. Medicinal chemistry is a rapidly maturing discipline. The study of how structure and function are related is absolutely essential to understanding the molecular basis of life. Each issue of the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (JSAC) is devoted to a specific technical topic and thus provides to JSAC readers a collection of up-to-date papers on that topic. These issues are valuable to the research community and become valuable references. The technical topics covered by JSAC issues span the entire field of communications and networking. JSAC publishes only papers that are submitted in response to a Call-for-Papers. IIE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering, an official journal of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, publishes original high-quality papers on healthcare related topics of interest to researchers who want to remain current with cutting edge approaches to healthcare problems. IIE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering encourages research motivated by the challenging problems related to healthcare systems. Area Development and Policy ( ADP) is to be a world-class journal publishing original academic research examining the multi-scalar and geographically differentiated relationships between economic and political organization, ways of life and work and their context, as they shape regions, cities, rural areas and their inter-relationships.

Geographically it concentrates on issues relating to the Greater BRICS and aims to publish research emerging from these countries as well from the developed world.

ADP recognizes that the economic, political, cultural and geographical context plays a fundamental role in shaping development. ADP therefore recognizes that research should examine the role of diverse national and regional institutional configurations and values, and that theories should derive from the experiences of these countries and regions and not necessarily from theories derived from the possibly exceptional experiences of Northwest Europe and North America.

ADP aims to expand common ground while accepting differences, improve mutual communication and increase cooperation and shared learning.

It is the policy of the Australian Journal of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (AJEEE) to publish a variety of contributions to the science and practice of electrical engineering. Major fields of interest include electronics and communications, electric energy, instrumentation and control, and automation.

The AJEEE aims to publish reviewed technical papers in these major fields of interest, as well as in allied fields. Papers should be related to the relevant fields and will usually fall into one of the following categories:

• Research Paper - a paper making an original contribution to engineering knowledge.
• Special Interest Paper – a report on significant aspects of a major or notable project.
• Review Paper for specialists – an overview of a relevant area intended for specialists in the field covered.
• Review Paper for non-specialists – an overview of a relevant area suitable for a reader with an electrical/electronics background.
• Tutorial Paper – a paper that explains an important subject or clarifies the approach to an area of design or investigation.
• Technical Note – a technical note or letter to the Editors that is not sufficiently developed or extensive in scope to constitute a full paper.
• Discussion – a contribution to discuss a published paper to which the original author's response will be sought.

From time to time, invitations are presented to particular authors to write papers for the AJEEE. This most usually occurs when it is decided to collect a number of papers relating to one subject for a given issue, often with a guest editor.

Aims and ScopeJACI: In Practice covers the spectrum of conditions treated by allergist-immunologists in their practices. The emphasis of the journal is on information that is practical for clinicians-material that can be used in everyday practice or will help in acquiring new knowledge or skills that can be directly applied to patients. A major goal of JACI: In Practice is to provide our readers with a high level of evidence to support their clinical decisions in diagnosis and management. Content All JACI: In Practice content is peer-reviewed. The journal welcomes original research articles that fit into the above scope. For each original article, a highlight box indicates what is already known about this subject, what this study adds, and how the new information impacts current management guidelines. Shorter original research and instructive case reports are presented as Clinical Communications. "Images in Allergy" submissions that consist of clinical pictures (e.g., X-rays, CT scans, biopsies, allergens, endoscopic visualizations of the airway, eruptions, etc.) and impart important clinical information are also included. In addition, JACI: In Practice features various types of review articles that will primarily be invited by the editors. Many of these will offer CME. The original and review articles are supplemented by Editorials, AAAAI Practice Papers, and a regular Ask the Expert column.

The Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies (JEMS) publishes the results of first-class research on all forms of migration and its consequences, together with articles on ethnic conflict, discrimination, racism, nationalism, citizenship and policies of integration. Contributions to the journal, which are all fully refereed, are especially welcome when they are the result of comparative research, for example within Europe or between one or more European country and the countries of North America and the Asia-Pacific. The journal tends to focus on advanced industrial countries and has distinguished associate editors from North America and the Asia-Pacific. JEMS has a long-standing interest in informed policy debate and contributions are welcomed which seek to develop the implications of research for policy innovation, or which evaluate the results of previous initiatives. The Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Electronic Reserve provides a forum for the presentation of pure and applied research results, discussion of best practices and review of literature regarding all aspects of library resource sharing. While other journals in reference services and academic librarianship occasionally publish articles on interlibrary loan or electronic reserve, this unique journal publishes more than half of all articles on these topics. In addition to traditional resource sharing topics of interlibrary loan and electronic reserves, the journal encourages submission of scholarly papers regarding document delivery, cooperative collection development, shared virtual library services and digitization projects, library consortia, networks and cooperatives as well as other multi-library collaborative efforts.Of particular interest are articles regarding new models and emerging technologies for resource sharing, cooperative training ventures, and shared storage facilities. The Journal of Mental Health Research in Intellectual Disabilities, the official research journal of NADD, is an interdisciplinary research journal with the purpose of reporting original scientific and scholarly contributions to advance knowledge about mental health issues among persons with intellectual disabilities. The journal will address issues related to the full range of psychopathology among persons with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation), neuro-developmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders, including severe behavior problems, criminality, substance abuse, and genetic phenotypes across the life span. The journal seeks to publish contributions with an emphasis on empirically based research and will include research on characteristics of persons with intellectual and mental health problems; risk and protective factors related to the development and/or prevention of mental health problems in persons with intellectual disabilities; development of screening and diagnostic instruments; effectiveness of behavioral, psychosocial and pharmacological treatment procedures (including group and single subject designs); critical or comparative literature reviews, including quantitative meta-analyses. Occasional conceptual reviews that provide for new understanding of theory or theoretical constructs will also be considered. This journal is methodological in focus, so it welcomes research syntheses on all topics in Applied Linguistics, but especially those that have a strong relevance to professional practice (e.g., language teaching, learning, and assessment).

Research syntheses, or evidence syntheses, are a type of secondary research that employs systematic, transparent, reproducible, and often pre-registered methodologies to synthesise published research ( Chong & Plonsky, 2023; Chong & Plonsky, 2024). The focus of research syntheses can be substantive (e.g., language testing, translanguaging) and/or methodological (e.g., narrative inquiry). In the field of Applied Linguistics, meta-analyses are traditionally the predominant form of research synthesis, accounting for most of the published synthetic work. Nevertheless, this journal welcomes submissions of not only meta-analyses but other emergent types of research syntheses, especially those that employ qualitative methodologies (e.g., qualitative research synthesis, scoping review, systematic literature review) as well as methodological papers on the specific stages of conducting a research synthesis.
