Religion & Education is a journal of analysis and comment with the purpose of advancing public understanding and dialogue on issues at the intersections of religion and education. These issues emerge in various venues; manuscripts are invited from work in any such arena: public or private education at elementary, secondary, or higher education institutions; non-school or community organizations and settings; and formal or informal organizations or groups with religion or spirituality as an integral part of their work. Articles are invited from diverse methodological approaches and theoretical and ideological perspectives. Some articles are solicited, but unsolicited articles are encouraged. Unsolicited manuscripts are put through a peer review process. Opinions expressed by contributors do not necessarily reflect those of the editors or publisher. This journal does not address the work of formal religious institutions including churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples. Rather, it focuses on the beliefs and values arising from all traditions as they come into contact with educational work in the public square.

Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH) is the Open Access journal of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and the newest journal in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. Complementing its flagship journal, the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH), RPTH provides a dedicated Open Access home for science and discourse among researchers, clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and patients.

This interdisciplinary journal publishes papers relating the plasticity and response of the nervous system to accidental or experimental injuries and their interventions, transplantation, neurodegenerative disorders and experimental strategies to improve regeneration or functional recovery and rehabilitation. Experimental and clinical research papers adopting fresh conceptual approaches are encouraged. The overriding criteria for publication are novelty, significant experimental or clinical relevance and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Experiments on un-anesthetized animals should conform with the standards for the use of laboratory animals as established by the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources, US National Academy of Sciences. Experiments in which paralytic agents are used must be justified. Patient identity should be concealed. All manuscripts are sent out for blind peer review to editorial board members or outside reviewers.

River Research and Applications , previously published as Regulated Rivers: Research and Management (1987-2001), is an international journal dedicated to the promotion of basic and applied scientific research on rivers. The journal publishes original scientific and technical papers on biological, ecological, geomorphological, hydrological, engineering and geographical aspects related to rivers in both the developed and developing world. Papers showing how basic studies and new science can be of use in applied problems associated with river management, regulation and restoration are encouraged as is interdisciplinary research concerned directly or indirectly with river management problems. Schizophrenia Research: Cognition is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal publishing articles on cognition in schizophrenia, broadly defined. The journal publishes original articles, concise research reports, brief reports, letters to the editor, and review papers. Submissions on all aspects of cognition in schizophrenia will be welcome, including clinical neuropsychology, neurocognition, social cognition, functional capacity, cognitive, affective, and social neuroscience, and aspects of everyday outcome as related to cognition. Articles that compare the impact of cognition and other influences on outcome in schizophrenia will also be published.
