Indagationes Mathematicae is the quarterly journal for Mathematical Sciences of the Royal Dutch Mathematical Society. The journal aims at the publication of original mathematical research papers of high quality, preferably of interest to a large segment of the mathematics community. Although the journal aims at general mathematical subjects, there is some preference for articles with a focus on analysis in a broad sense, including areas like dynamical systems, differential geometry and stochastics. Inquiry is an Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy. Founded by Arne Naess in 1958, Inquiry has come to occupy a distinctive and highly valued place amongst the philosophical journals. Inquiry is a refereed journal, publishing in all areas of philosophy. It has made its most distinctive mark in fostering exchange across the various internal boundaries and barriers that characterized philosophy over the past century. The Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research (JSLHR) annually publishes summary statistics of acceptance/rejection rates and manuscript processing times. These summary statistics provide data on acceptance/rejection rates, frequently used by tenure/promotion committees, as well as average manuscript processing times, often of interest to contributing authors.Table 1 shows the rates for acceptance and rejection for manuscripts receiving a final decision in 2008 through 2010, regardless of the year the manuscript was submitted originally. The Speech, Language, and Hearing sections of the journal are reported separately. Accepted manuscripts are those for which a final decision to accept has been made. Rejected manuscripts are those that have been judged unsuitable for publication and for which no further revision or resubmission has been requested.Figure 1 presents data for manuscripts that had completed the review process as of year-end 2010. The submission-to-decision interval is calculated from the date the editor's office receives the new or revised manuscript to the date a decision is made on the manuscript.

The Journal of Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases publishes original papers on basic and clinical science related to the fields of stroke and cerebrovascular diseases. Topics covered include all fields stated in the MSC code. Journal of the Egyptian Mathematical Society (JOEMS) is a journal of mathematical sciences publishing refereed, well-written original research articles that describe the latest research and developments in the areas of pure and applied mathematics. This is a broad-based journal covering all branches of mathematics and interdisciplinary research. To bring together original research thereby providing a forum for active researchers in mathematics and workers in more applied areas. To be acceptable for publication in the journal, papers must make significant, original and correct contributions to one or more of the fields mentioned in Mathematical Subjects Classification (M.S.C.). Applied Mathematics accepted papers should be clearly motivated by actual or potential application to real phenomena. JOEMS accepts papers through peer review by professional colleagues in the relevant fields. Unless clearly below the standard required by the journal, submitted articles will be sent to referees. They will generally be reviewed by at least two experts with the aim of reaching a decision as soon as possible. Where possible, the final decision is made on the basis that the referees are in accordance with one another. When there is a strong disagreement between referees, advice is sought from a member of the journal's Editorial Board.

The series Advances in Polymer Science presents critical reviews of the present and future trends in polymer and biopolymer science. It covers all areas of research in polymer and biopolymer science including chemistry, physical chemistry, physics, material science. The thematic volumes are addressed to scientists, whether at universities or in industry, who wish to keep abreast of the important advances in the covered topics. Advances in Polymer Science enjoys a longstanding tradition and good reputation in its community. Each volume is dedicated to a current topic, and each review critically surveys one aspect of that topic, to place it within the context of the volume. The volumes typically summarize the significant developments of the last 5 to 10 years and discuss them critically, presenting selected examples, explaining and illustrating the important principles, and bringing together many important references of primary literature. On that basis, future research directions in the area can be discussed. The Alexandria Journal of Medicine is an international peer reviewed journal, concerned with providing a venue for publication of all aspects of human diseases including basic and clinical aspects with a particular focus on diseases of high prevalence in the Middle East and its comparison to their profile in the rest of the world. Manuscripts from other world regions are welcome, to increase the scientific exchange between the different world regions. Anatomical Sciences Education is the journal of the American Association of Anatomists, published in cooperation with the American Association of Clinical Anatomists and the Human Anatomy & Physiology Society. Materials Discovery aims to promote all aspects of the emerging field of Materials Informatics and the scope includes, but is not limited to, the use of informatics or data intensive experiments and computations as applied to:

• the discovery and design of new materials and/or microstructures;
• advancing knowledge and theoretical understanding of materials processes and /or mechanisms governing materials behavior;
• understanding the nature of data collection and generation in both experimental and computational studies; and
• methods to aid the analysis and interpretation of data and databases.

We encourage submission of articles where the fundamental issues underlying topics of data measurement, quantification and uncertainty are linked to the interpretation of materials science phenomena and characterization.

Annals of Nutrition and Metabolism is a leading international peer-reviewed journal for sharing information on human nutrition, metabolism, and related fields, covering the broad and multidisciplinary nature of science in nutrition and metabolism. The journal focuses on human nutrition and metabolism, and related areas, including experimental studies and basic science that can inform human nutrition science.
