The Computer Journal is one of the longest-established journals serving all branches of the academic computer science community. The Foot is an international peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of scientific approaches and medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle.The Foot aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for all specialties involved in treating disorders of the foot and ankle. The Geographical Journal has been the academic journal of the Royal Geographical Society, under the terms of the Royal Charter, since 1893. It publishes original research papers and review articles, all of which are refereed. Editorial policy is not influenced by the views of the sponsors. The Neurodiagnostic Journal is the official journal of ASET - The Neurodiagnostic Society. Aims & Scope: Translation of mRNA into protein is a central step in the gene expression pathway. It is tightly controlled to provide cells with a rapid, robust and highly specific means to respond to changes in its microenvironment. Pathological regulation of translation occurs in many diseases including diabetes, heart failure and cancer. Agents to correct aberrant translation are being actively developed.

Translation is planned as a unique peer-reviewed, high-profile journal with a broad international audience. The launch of this journal reflects the tremendous progress in the field of translation over the past decade.

Translation will cover two major areas:

• Biochemistry and basic cell biology - structure, function and regulation of the translational apparatus in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells;
• Translational control in biology and medicine - molecular and systems-level studies of translation across the entire spectrum of development and function of multicellular organisms and human health and disease.

Dyes and Pigments covers the scientific and technical aspects of the chemistry and physics of dyes, pigments and their intermediates. Emphasis is placed on the properties of the colouring matters themselves rather than on their applications or the system in which they may be applied.Thus the journal accepts research and review papers on the synthesis of dyes, pigments and intermediates, their physical or chemical properties, e.g. spectroscopic, surface, solution or solid state characteristics, the physical aspects of their preparation, e.g. precipitation, nucleation and growth, crystal formation, liquid crystalline characteristics, their photochemical, ecological or biological properties and the relationship between colour and chemical constitution. The ultimate aim of Ecological Indicators is to integrate the monitoring and assessment of ecological and environmental indicators with management practices. The journal provides a forum for the discussion of the applied scientific development and review of traditional indicator approaches as well as for theoretical, modelling and quantitative applications such as index development. The journal is concerned with the use of mathematical models and systems analysis for the description of ecological processes and for the sustainable management of resources. Human activity and well-being are dependent on and integrated with the functioning of ecosystems and the services they provide. We aim to understand these basic ecosystem functions using mathematical and conceptual modelling, systems analysis, thermodynamics, computer simulations, and ecological theory. This leads to a preference for process-based models embedded in theory with explicit causative agents as opposed to strictly statistical or correlative descriptions. These modelling methods can be applied to a wide spectrum of issues ranging from basic ecology to human ecology to socio-ecological systems. This journal continues to serve the large technical community concerned with quantitative and computational methods of optimization, and their application to engineering planning, design, manufacture and operational processes. The policy of the journal treats optimization as any formalized process for improvement. Algorithms for numerical optimization are therefore mainstream for the journal, but equally welcome are papers which use many of the methods of operations research, decision support, statistical decision theory, systems theory, logical inference, knowledge-based systems, artificial intelligence, information theory and processing, and all methods which can be used in the quantitative modelling of the decision-making process. The engineering dimension is vital. Engineering Optimization aims to serve all disciplines within the engineering community. Aims and Scope of the Journal Environmental and Experimental Botany:Environmental and Experimental Botany (EEB) publishes research papers on the physical, chemical, biological, molecular mechanisms and processes involved in the responses of plants to their environment.In addition to research papers, the journal includes review articles.
