An international, refereed journal, Gender, Technology and Development serves as a forum for exploring the linkages between gender relations, development and/or technological change. The objective of the journal is to provide a platform for original research and theorizing on the shifting meanings of gender, as it relates to advances in science and technologies and/or to social, political, economic, and cultural change. In particular, the journal is interested in addressing these in the context of transnational phenomena and engaging in dialogues that cut across geographical boundaries. 

Geosciences (ISSN 2076-3263) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal, which publishes original papers, rapid communications, technical notes and review articles, and discussions about all interdisciplinary aspects of the Earth and Planetary Sciences. This comprises the solid earth, the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and the biosphere, as well as related issues of planetary and space sciences. Coatings (ISSN 2079-6412) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal of coatings and surface engineering. It publishes reviews, research articles, communications and technical notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided. There are, in addition, unique features of this journal: manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure - if unable to be published in a normal way - can be deposited as supplementary material

Hyperfine Interactions is an international journal devoted to research in the border regions of Solid-State Physics, Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics and relevant Chemistry. The interactions of atoms, ions, electrons and nuclei with their environments in solids, liquids, gases, plasmas and directed beams comprise a broad area of physical science in themselves and also prove unique tools for studies of the behaviour of many physical, chemical and biological systems.

Abrasive technology concerns manufacturing processes that involve use of abrasives in a variety of forms. It has a long history originating from the discovery of minerals. With the increasing requirements for high precision and high surface quality components in various applications, (e.g. silicon wafers in the semiconductor industry and optical lenses in the precision instrument industry), abrasive technology is becoming increasingly important in precision manufacturing. IJAT deals with abrasive technology, covering theoretical and applied research, new technologies and applications.

IJAAC addresses the evolution and realisation of the theory, algorithms, techniques, schemes and tools for any kind of automation and control platforms including macro, micro and nano scale machineries and systems, with emphasis on implications that state-of-the-art technology choices have on both the feasibility and practicability of the intended applications. Industrial and systems engineering (ISE) aims at imparting fundamental knowledge to develop the ability to address complex industrial issues, highlighting how to design, run, control and optimise production systems. IJISE addresses the development of ISE principles, tools, systems and methods with special emphasis on the applications of ISE techniques and tools in improving organisational productivity and competitiveness in global markets.

IJMMNO addresses mathematical modelling, algorithm development, numerical methods, computer simulations and numerical optimisation as well as applications and case studies. It focuses on multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research to communicate new algorithms and techniques in mathematical modelling and numerical optimisation and promote real-world applications in all major areas of sciences, engineering and industry. IJMMNO publishes full-length original research papers, with a section dedicated to short research notes and concise case studies using modelling, simulation and optimisation.
