Extrapolation was founded in 1959 by Thomas D. Clareson and was the first journal to publish academic work on science fiction and fantasy. It continues to be a leading, peer-reviewed, international journal in that specialized genre in the literature of popular culture. It welcomes papers on all areas of speculative culture, including print, film, television, comic books and video games, and particularly encourages papers which consider popular texts within their larger cultural context. The journal publishes a wide variety of critical approaches including but not limited to literary criticism, utopian studies, genre criticism, feminist theory, critical race studies, queer theory, and postcolonial theory. Extrapolation promotes innovative work which considers the place of speculative texts in contemporary culture. It is interested in promoting dialogue among scholars working within a number of traditions and in encouraging the serious study of popular culture.

Fashion Theory takes as its starting point a definition of ‘fashion’ as the cultural construction of the embodied identity. The importance of studying the body as a site for the deployment of discourses has been well established in a number of disciplines. Until Fashion Theory’s launch in 1997 the dressed body had suffered from a lack of critical analysis. Increasingly scholars have recognized the cultural significance of self-fashioning, including not only clothing but also such body alterations as tattooing and piercing. Fashion Theory provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for the rigorous analysis of cultural phenomena. Its peer-reviewed articles range from foot-binding to fashion advertising.

Feminist Legal Studies is committed to an international perspective and to the promotion of feminist work in all areas of law, legal theory and legal practice. The journal publishes material in a range of formats, including articles, essay reviews, interviews, book reviews and notes on recent legal developments. The editorial board encourages the submission of papers from people working outside the academy, as well as from researchers in any discipline. The journal publishes critical, interdisciplinary, theoretically engaged feminist scholarship relating to law (broadly conceived). It has a particular interest in work that extends feminist debates and analysis by reference to critical and theoretical approaches and perspectives. Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe is a scientific journal, published in English with Polish abstracts, devoted to scientific research & development of the manufacturing and processing of fibre-grade polymers, including biopolymers, fibres, fibrous products, and textile technologies. Some of the problems discussed in the journal are trends in fibre development, theory and practice of new technologies and techniques for manufacturing and modifying polymers, fibres and textiles, among others, by means of waste free, biotechnological processes and the manufacturing of special fibres and fibrous products, especially from modified natural and synthetic polymers such as cellulose derivatives, lignins, chitin and chitosan. Special attention is paid to works presenting problems related to bioactivity, biocompatibility, biodegradability, textile waste utilisation and waste-water.

Fire and Materials is an international journal for scientific and technological communications directed at the fire properties of materials and the products into which they are made. This covers all aspects of the polymer field and the end uses where polymers find application; the important developments in the fields of natural products - wood and cellulosics; non-polymeric materials - metals and ceramics; as well as the chemistry and industrial applications of fire retardant chemicals. Contributions will be particularly welcomed on heat release; properties of combustion products - smoke opacity, toxicity and corrosivity; modelling and testing.

First Amendment Studies (formerly Free Speech Yearbook) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original essays, which make a significant contribution to theory and/or policy, on all aspects of free speech.

While the journal has changed its name, its mission remains the same. We continue to accept historical and contemporary essays addressing areas such as, but not limited to, doctrinal analysis of international and national free speech law and legislation, the rhetorical analysis of cases and judicial rhetoric, theoretical and cultural issues related to free speech, and the role of free speech in a wide variety of contexts (e.g., organizations, popular culture, from traditional to new media, etc.)

Fish Physiology and Biochemistry is an international journal publishing original research papers in all aspects of the physiology and biochemistry of fishes. Foods (ISSN 2304-8158) is an international, peer-reviewed scientific open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to all aspects of food research. It publishes reviews, regular research papers and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists, researchers, and other food professionals to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible or share their knowledge with as much readers unlimitedly as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering is an international peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China. The journal seeks to provide a forum for a broad blend of high-quality academic papers in order to promote rapid communication and exchange between researchers, scientists, and engineers in the field of mechanical engineering. Fungal Diversity is an international journal which publishes papers spanning all facets of the field of mycology. The coverage encompasses biodiversity, and systematic and molecular phylogeny. The content includes novel research articles and review articles, all of which are peer reviewed. Fungal Diversity is the official journal of Kunming Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is based in China.All articles in this journal are published Online First and are citable by their permanent DOI. This online version is considered the official publication, not simply a prepublication service, and should be considered the Version of Record as defined by NISO RP-8-2008. After online publication, any corrections require the publication of an Erratum.

German Economic Review (GER) publishes original research of general interest in a broad range of economic discplines, including macro- and microeconomics, public economics, business administration and finance. Authors are invited to submit papers devoted to policy analysis as well as theoretical and empirical papers. All submissions are refereed. The journal's internationally composed board of editors is committed to maintaining a high standard of quality. As the official journal of the Verein fur Socialpolitik (German Economic Association), German Economic Review is provided to all the members of the association. GER is published four times a year, in English, and is available online.

The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL) is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to deepen and broaden our knowledge and understanding about the rule of law. Its two main areas of interest are: 1) theoretical issues related to the conceptualization and implementation of the rule of law in domestic and international contexts; 2) the relation between the rule of law and economic development, democratization and human rights protection. The HJRL welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners with expertise in any relevant field, including law, anthropology, economics, philosophy, political science and sociology.

Helminthologia publishes original peer-reviewed research, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of human and veterinary medicine as well as agronomy. The journal takes a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to current issues in helminthology, and is committed to rapid dissemination of the latest research to the academic community. Helminthologia presents original articles, review articles, and research notes on various aspects of pure and applied helminthology, particularly on helminth- and endo-parasites in human and animal hosts, and plant parasites of environmental, health and veterinary importance, along with taxonomic contributions. Coverage includes parasitology, immunology, taxonomy, morphology, phytonematology and ecology.

Hematology is an international journal publishing original and review articles in the field of general hematology, including oncology, pathology, biology, clinical research and epidemiology. Of the fixed sections, annotations are accepted on any general or scientific field: technical annotations covering current laboratory practice in general hematology, blood transfusion and clinical trials, and current clinical practice reviews the consensus driven areas of care and management.

Hematology aims to bridge the interests and practices of both those carrying out laboratory work and those whose main inclination is towards patient care. The journal provides a forum where the clinical aspects of any published material will be emphasised.
