The IJWD publishes articles pertaining to dermatologic medical, surgical and cosmetic issues faced by female patients and their children. We are interested in original research articles, review articles, unusual case reports, new treatments, clinical trials, education, mentorship and viewpoint articles. Very important articles will have accompanying editorials. Topics which our subsection editors look forward to welcoming include acneiform disorders, inflammatory skin conditions, infections, including sexually transmitted diseases, autoimmune conditions, blistering diseases, vitiligo, skin of colour, hair and nail disorders, skin cancers, pregnancy and childbirth, pediatric dermatology, vulvar/genital disorders, psychodermatology, surgical issues, laser/peel/cosmetic procedures, and dermatopathology. Articles dealing with ethical issues in dermatology and medical legal scenarios are also welcome. We aim for rapid peer review from the academic leadership of the WDS as well as experts throughout the world. We will have open access of the accepted peer-reviewed articles even before the final proofs are compiled, allowing the work to be available as soon as possible. We cater to an audience of dermatologists, scientists, educational experts, family practitioners, pediatricians, gynaecologists and obstetricians, plastic surgeons, rheumatologists, internists, family physicians and pharmacologists.

Papers are encouraged on environmental issues relating to agriculture, air quality, benefit (value) transfer, biodiversity, carbon sequestration and taxation, ecosystem services, emissions trading, energy (renewable), environment and health, non-market benefits of forestry, land-use, noise, recreation, recycling, regulatory mechanisms, sustainable development, sustainable procurement, urban development, water supply, water quality, waste management, wildlife, and woodland.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.

All peer review is double blind and submission is online via ScholarOne.

The Journal of Feminist Family Therapy provides an international forum to further explore the relationship between feminist theory and family therapy theory and practice. The journal presents thought-provoking and insightful articles of a theoretical nature, as well as articles focusing on empirical research and clinical application. The Journal of Feminist Family Therapy critiques family therapy concepts from a feminist perspective with careful attention to cultural, class, and racial differences, applies a feminist-sensitive perspective to the treatment issues particular to women such as depression, agoraphobia, eating disorders, incest, and domestic abuse, explores the implications of a feminist approach to training and supervision in family therapy, examines the field of family therapy and its organization and institutional structure from a feminist perspective and describes clinical applications of feminist-informed treatment in family therapy. Journal of Nursing Regulation (JNR), the offical journal of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN®), is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, academic and professional journal. It publishes scholarly articles that advance the science of nursing regulation, promote the mission and vision of NCSBN, and enhance communication and collaboration among nurse regulators, educators, practitioners, and the scientific community. The journal supports evidence-based regulation, addresses issues related to patient safety, and highlights current nursing regulatory issues, programs, and projects in both the United States and the international community. In publishing JNR, NCSBN's goal is to develop and share knowledge related to nursing and other healthcare regulation across continents and to promote a greater awareness of regulatory issues among all nurses.

Published eight times a year, Production Planning & Control is an international journal that brings together research papers on all aspects of production planning and control and the management of operations in all industries. The journal focuses on research that stems from an industrial need and can guide the activities of managers, consultants, software developers and researchers. Public Health Ethics is the first peer-reviewed international journal to focus on a systematic analysis of the moral problems in public health and preventive medicine. It contains original articles, reviews, and case studies about the nature of public health and related concepts (e.g. population, public, community, prevention); discussions of values in public health; and ethical issues in relation to all aspects of public health policy and practice. Safety and Health at Work (SH@W) is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal published quarterly in English beginning in 2010. The journal is aimed at providing grounds for the exchange of ideas and data developed through research experience in the broad field of occupational health and safety. Articles may deal with scientific research to improve workers' health and safety by eliminating occupational accidents and diseases, pursuing a better working life, and creating a safe and comfortable working environment. The journal focuses primarily on original articles across the whole scope of occupational health and safety, but also welcomes up-to-date review papers and short communications and commentaries on urgent issues and case studies on unique epidemiological survey, methods of accident investigation, and analysis. Studies in Family Planning is a peer-reviewed, international journal publishing public health, social science, and biomedical research on sexual and reproductive health, fertility, and family planning, with a primary focus on developing countries. Each issue contains original research articles, reports, commentaries, data papers, and book reviews. Studies in Family Planning is published quarterly.

The journal has a two-tiered review process. Preliminary review is the initial screening that each manuscript undergoes to assess appropriateness of topic and treatment, its accessibility and interest to our readership, and its contribution to the journal's overall diversity and balance. The paper is read by members of the Editorial Committee and discussed at a monthly meeting. If a paper does not pass preliminary review, the author receives early notification—though without detailed comments—and is able to submit it to another journal without undue loss of time. Papers that pass preliminary review are sent out to two or more referees. Authors of articles sent out for peer review can expect written comments and a decision about their paper approximately three months after submission. Surface Engineering provides a forum for the publication of international, peer reviewed material on this important enabling technology.
