The Journal of Ecotourism seeks to advance the field by examining the social, economic, and ecological aspects of ecotourism at a number of scales, and including regions from around the world. Journal of Ecotourism welcomes conceptual, theoretical, and empirical research, particularly where it contributes to the dissemination of new ideas and models of ecotourism planning, development, management, and good practice. While the focus of the journal rests on a type of tourism based principally on natural history - along with other associated features of the man-land nexus - it will consider papers which investigate ecotourism as part of a broader nature based tourism, as well as those works which compare or contrast ecotourism/ists with other forms of tourism/ists. Other topics for consideration include (but are not restricted to): community development, human ecology, ecotourism typologies, parks and protected areas, impacts, policy, accreditation and certification, risk management, marketing, ethics and philosophy, interpretation, and education. The Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer is a multidisciplinary medium for the publication of novel research pertaining to cancers arising from the gastrointestinal tract.The journal is dedicated to the most rapid publication possible.The journal publishes papers in all relevant fields, emphasizing those studies that are helpful in understanding and treating cancers affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder and biliary tree, pancreas, small bowel, large bowel, rectum, and anus. Language & Intercultural Communication promotes an interdisciplinary understanding of the interplay between language and intercultural communication. It therefore welcomes research into intercultural communication, particularly where it explores the importance of linguistic aspects; and research into language, especially the learning of foreign languages, where it explores the importance of intercultural perspectives. Photographies seeks to construct a new agenda for theorising photography as a heterogeneous medium that is changing in an ever more dynamic relation to all aspects of contemporary culture. Photographies aims to further develop the history and theory of photography, considering new frameworks for thinking and addressing questions arising from the present context of technological, economic, political and cultural change. Photographies investigates the contemporary condition and currency of the photographic within local and global contexts. Resonance is a journal of science education, published monthly by the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, entering its second decade of publication. The African Historical Review is the successor to Kleio: A Journal of Historical Studies from Africa, which was published by the Department of History at the University of South Africa (Unisa) for more than thirty-five years. It therefore has a long and distinguished history. Originally conceived as a research and teaching forum for histories taught in the Department and to promote the work of students and staff, the journal has more recently been transformed into a publication in which high quality articles on a wide variety of historical subjects have appeared. The outstanding level of professional research and writing displayed in the journal has been recognised internationally, and from 2004 it became an accredited academic journal in South Africa, earning subsidy from the Department of Education. It is being relaunched as the African Historical Review in order to attract both a broader readership and contributor base and to showcase scholarship beyond southern Africa thus emphasising its intention to articulate southern African studies with continental African scholarship. The African Historical Review is independent of any professional society or association. Its mission, as befits its base in Africa and its new name, is to be transdisciplinary, responsive to theoretical developments in research relating to the continent of Africa and within fields closely linked to historical and heritage studies (including teaching) more generally. We welcome contributions from both established and younger scholars on themes from or in Africa, and would like to encourage innovative writing and research on a variety of topics and with an array of theoretical frameworks. The American Journal of Physiology - Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology publishes original research covering the broad scope of molecular, cellular, and integrative aspects of normal and abnormal function of cells and components of the respiratory system. Areas of interest include conducting airways, pulmonary circulation, lung endothelial and epithelial cells, the pleura, neuroendocrine and immunologic cells in the lung, neural cells involved in control of breathing, and cells of the diaphragm and thoracic muscles. The processes to be covered in the Journal include gas-exchange, metabolic control at the cellular level, intracellular signaling, gene expression, genomics, macromolecules and their turnover, cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, cell motility, secretory mechanisms, membrane function, surfactant, matrix components, mucus and lining materials, lung defenses, macrophage function, transport of salt, water and protein, development and differentiation of the respiratory system, and response to the environment. Reports of research using innovative approaches in cell and organ physiology, molecular and cellular biology, molecular genetics, genomics including animal models of integrative function, biochemistry, biophysics, and morphology, are welcome. The Journal also encourages submission of original manuscripts in the field of translational physiology, an area of research that bridges the gap between basic lung, cellular, and molecular physiology and patient care. Manuscripts in this area may transfer clinical insights into hypotheses that can be tested and validated in the basic research laboratory, or they may transfer knowledge gained from basic research to human pathophysiology and to improved methods of treating or preventing disease.

Revista de la Sociedad Chilena de Ortopedia y Traumatología has been the official publication of the Chilean Society for Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology since 1953. The contents of the journal give priority to original articles in Spanish on the specialization, which are subject to a rigorous review procedure. It also publishes one or two case histories in each issue which are of special interest to its readers, as they usually contain exceptional cases with difficult diagnoses or therapy. The sections on Updates, Reviews and Basic Research works are of great interest to specialists, thanks to a careful selection of subjects. All articles are open access and include a summary in English.

Revista Chilena de Ortopedia y Traumatología es el Órgano Oficial de la Sociedad Chilena de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología desde 1953. En el contenido de la revista se da prioridad a la publicación de artículos originales en español sobre la especialidad que pasan por un estricto proceso de revisión. Se publican además uno o dos casos clínicos por número que son de gran interés para los lectores, ya que suelen exponer casos excepcionales, de dificultad diagnóstica o terapéutica. Las secciones de Actualización, Revisiones y Trabajos de Investigación básica tienen gran interés para los especialistas, gracias a una cuidadosa selección de los temas. Todos los artículos son de acceso abierto y cuentan con un resumen en inglés.
