Mining bioinformatics data is an emerging area at the intersection between bioinformatics and data mining. The objective of the IJDMB is to facilitate collaboration between data mining researchers and bioinformaticians by presenting cutting edge research topics and methodologies in the area of data mining for bioinformatics. This perspective acknowledges the inter-disciplinary nature of the research in data mining and bioinformatics and provides a unified forum for researchers/practitioners/students/policy makers to share the latest research and developments in this fast growing multi-disciplinary research area.

The purpose of this journal is to promote international academic exchange in the fields of Photonics and Optoelectronics in China and abroad, through the rapid reporting of new and important experimental results. This journal will become an important window into Chinese science and technology in the field of photonics/optoelectronics. The scope of this journal covers new functional materials and devices: micro–nano–structure and quantum optoelectronics: optoelectronics information technology: sensing, measurement and inspection: storage and display: image and information processing.

The RELC Journal is a fully peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research and review articles on language education. The aim of this Journal is to present information and ideas on theories, research, methods and materials related to language learning and teaching. Within this framework the Journal welcomes contributions in such areas of current enquiry as first and second language learning and teaching, language and culture, discourse analysis, language planning, language testing, multilingual education, stylistics, translation and information technology.

The International Journal of Educational Research publishes research manuscripts in the field of education. Work must be of a quality and context that the Editorial Board think would be of interest to an international readership. The aims and scope of the journals are to:• Provide a journal that reports research on topics that are of international significance across educational contexts• Publish high quality manuscripts that are of international significance in terms of design and/or findings• Encourage collaboration by international teams of researchers to create special issues on these topicsWhat can papers/special issues be about?Proposals for special issues and individual papers can be on any contemporary educational topic of international interest. Reports of high quality educational research involving any discipline and methodology will be welcome. However, the journal's aim and scope is to ensure it publishes high quality research that could potentially inform research, policy and practice beyond the context of that in which the original work is undertaken.The research reported does not have to be comparative (in the sense of comparing aspects of education in different countries or cultures); a paper may report research carried out in just one location or cultural setting. Work can be drawn from any context or research paradigm. However, the Journal tends to publish empirical research studies that have clear significance to an international readership. Therefore, work must have the following features:• A strong theoretical framework• Clear understanding of how literature critically relates to the topic researched• Strong design and analysis• Critical analysis and recommendations for further research, policy and practice in an international context• It must follow the 'Instructions for Authors' advice givenAs well as papers, which report the findings of empirical research, papers, which provide critical literature reviews of research on specific educational topics of international interest, will also be welcome.Types of publicationThe International Journal of Educational Research publishes regular papers and special issues on specific topics of interest to international audiences of educational researchers. Regular issues have an open call for manuscripts. Strong manuscripts will be reviewed. There is an Editorial Board policy that weaker manuscripts or manuscripts that do not follow the Guidelines for Authors will be rejected before review.Special issues are usually composed of individually invited manuscripts handled by a guest editor. Guest editors have responsibility for putting together the author team and handling the peer review process. Examples of recent Special Issues published in the journal illustrate the breadth of topics that have be included in the journal: 'Representing Diversity', 'Cross Curricularity', and 'Classroom Based Talk'. Please note that proposals for special issues must be in the format described in the Guide for Authors.How are papers assessed?Papers (including those in special issues) are subject to a peer review process, using an international panel of researchers who are expert in relevant fields. Referees are asked to judge the quality of research and also the relevance and accessibility of a paper for an international audience. The journal uses single blind review, meaning any reviewers are able to establish the author(s) of a manuscript. Authors must propose three reviewers for their manuscripts. These reviewers should be international in scope and at least one of them should be from an English language speaking country. Authors should not suggest reviewers from their own institution or reviewers where a conflict of interest may arise for the reviewer. For special issues, referees are asked first to judge the quality of a proposal, and then to judge the entire contents of a draft issue. International Journal of Logistics: Research & Applications publishes original and challenging work that has a clear applicability to the business world. As a result the journal concentrates on papers of an academic journal standard but aimed at the practitioner as much as the academic. High quality contributions are therefore welcomed from both academics and professionals working in the field of logistics and supply chain management. IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems focuses on the organization, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environment.  These systems include, but are not limited to, navigation, avionics, spacecraft, aerospace power, radar, sonar, telemetry, defense, transportation, automated testing, and command and control.

The articles in this journal are peer reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual (sections 8.2.1.C & 8.2.2.A). Each published article was reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.

Corresponding authors from low-income countries are eligible for waived or reduced open access APCs.

The IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering (T-ASE) publishes fundamental papers on Automation, emphasizing scientific results that advance efficiency, quality, productivity, and reliability. T-ASE encourages interdisciplinary approaches from computer science, control systems, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, operations research, and other fields. T-ASE welcomes results relevant to industries such as agriculture, biotechnology, healthcare, home automation, maintenance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, security, service, supply chains, and transportation.  T-ASE addresses a research community willing to integrate knowledge across disciplines and industries. For this purpose, each paper includes a Note to Practitioners that summarizes how its results can be applied or how they might be extended to apply in practice.

The IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior, and Identity Science  publishes original articles on all aspects of biometrics (i.e. recognizing people through their physiological or behavioral traits such as face, fingerprint, iris, and signature), including theory, applications, systems, and surveys. Biometrics are personal identity characteristics where people are recognized by who they are rather than by what they own; behavior is the typical movement of a person that is unique and identifiable; identity science underlies the application of biometrics. Papers focusing on ramifications of these areas will also be welcomed, such as security of such systems, standards for their deployment, and new architectures and systems are also welcomed. Broad topics of interest include but are not limited to:

• Biometric modalities and their fusion
• Novel pattern classification and machine learning, including deep learning, algorithms for biometrics and identity science
• Behavior analysis related to biometrics and identity science

Science and technology related to the basic physics and engineering of magnetism, magnetic materials, applied magnetics, magnetic devices, and magnetic data storage. The IEEE Transactions on Magnetics publishes scholarly articles of archival value as well as tutorial expositions and critical reviews of classical subjects and topics of current interest.

IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (hereinafter called TEEE ) publishes 6 times per year as an official journal of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (hereinafter 'IEEJ'). This peer-reviewed journal contains original research papers and review articles on the most important and latest technological advances in core areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in related disciplines. The journal also publishes short communications reporting on the results of the latest research activities TEEE ) aims to provide a new forum for IEEJ members in Japan as well as fellow researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from around the world to exchange ideas and research findings. Drug Safety is the official journal of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance. The journal includes:   

• Overviews of contentious or emerging issues. 
• Comprehensive narrative reviews that provide an authoritative source of information on epidemiology, clinical features, prevention and management of adverse effects of individual drugs and drug classes.

The European Heart Journal is an international, English language, peer-reviewed journal dealing with Cardiovascular Medicine. It is an official Journal of the European Society of Cardiology and is published twice monthly.The European Heart Journal aims to publish the highest quality material, both clinical and scientific, on all aspects of Cardiovascular Medicine. It includes articles related to research findings, technical evaluations, and reviews. In addition it provides a forum for the exchange of information on all aspects of Cardiovascular Medicine, including education issues.In addition to publishing original papers on all aspects of cardiovascular medicine and surgery, the Journal also features Reviews, Clinical Perspectives, ESC Guidelines and editorial articles about recent developments in cardiology as well as encouraging correspondence from its readers.
