Acta Psychologica publishes original articles and extended reviews on selected books in any area of experimental psychology. The focus of the Journal is on empirical studies and evaluative review articles that increase the theoretical understanding of human capabilities. The majority of papers deal with human performance, attention, perception, memory, and decision-making but papers concerned with social processes, development, psychopathology, neuroscience or computational modelling are also welcome provided that they are of direct importance to experimental psychologists and are written so as to be understandable to such a readership.The journal publishes occasional special issues devoted to single topics which merit particular attention. For more than 93 years, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics remains the leading orthodontic resource. Apollo Medicine (APME) is the official, peer-reviewed publication of Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals and has been conceptualized with the idea of providing a platform for researchers as well as clinicians ever since its inception in September 2004. The Journal circulated to all major medical institutions in India and subscribers.

Applied Surface Science covers topics contributing to a better understanding of applications of surfaces, interfaces, and nanostructures. The journal is concerned with scientific research on the atomic and molecular level of material properties, determined with multiple surface analytical techniques, as well as the processing and application of such structures.Processes include deposition and growth, oxidation and nitridation, surface and interface reactions, in general, as well as their modification by directed energy deposition (lasers, ion or electron beams) or other techniques such as plasmas.Important subject areas include optical, electronic, (opto)-electronic, magnetic materials, bio-compatible materials, complex material applications, and thermal, electrical, chemical, physical and mechanical processes at well-defined surfaces and interfaces, e.g., the processes occurring in catalysis, corrosion and wear, are welcome to Applied Surface Science. The design of industrial processes requires reliable thermodynamic data. CALPHAD (Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry) aims to promote computational thermodynamics through development of models to represent thermodynamic properties for various phases which permit prediction of properties of multicomponent systems from those of binary and ternary subsystems, critical assessment of data and their incorporation into self-consistent databases, development of software to optimize and derive thermodynamic parameters and the development and use of databanks for calculations to improve understanding of various industrial and technological processes. This work is disseminated through the CALPHAD journal and its annual conference. CBI discourages papers that are descriptive in nature and that do not address toxicological mechanisms (e.g., reports of toxicological effects following chemical exposure in absence of mechanistic experiments). CBI also discourages papers reporting on toxicological effects from materials, such as plant extracts or herbal medicines, that have not been chemically characterized.

Computational Biology and Chemistry publishes original research papers and review articles in all areas of computational life sciences. High quality research contributions in the areas of nucleic acid and protein sequence research, molecular evolution, molecular genetics (functional genomics and proteomics), theory and practice of either biology-specific or chemical-biology-specific modeling, and structural biology of nucleic acids and proteins are particularly welcome. Computer Physics Communications publishes research papers and computer program descriptions in computational physics and physical chemistry: the focus is on computational methods and techniques rather than results. All contributions are peer reviewed. Special issues are published on an occasional basis; enquiries should be directed to a member of the Editorial Board. Fuel Processing Technology deals with the scientific and technological aspects of processing fuels to other fuels, chemicals and by-products. Processing is considered in the sense of chemical conversions such as hydrogenation, gasification, pyrolysis and upgrading as well as physical processing by beneficiation, cleaning and removal of inorganic matter as well as sizing, crushing or screening. Coal, petroleum, oil shale, tar sands and peat are emphasized. Papers on biofuels are also encouraged. Journal of Anxiety Disorders is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes research papers dealing with all aspects of anxiety disorders for all age groups (child, adolescent, adult and geriatric). Manuscripts that focus on disorders formerly categorized as anxiety disorders (obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder) and the new category of illness anxiety disorder are also within the scope of the journal. Research areas of focus include: traditional, behavioral, cognitive and biological assessment; diagnosis and classification; psychosocial and psychopharmacological treatment; genetics; epidemiology; and prevention.
