Publishing articles of scientific excellence in pediatrics and child health delivery, Pediatrics International aims to encourage those involved in the research, practice and delivery of child health to share their experiences, ideas and achievements. Formerly Acta Paediatrica Japonica, the change in name in 1999 to Pediatrics International, reflects the Journal's international status both in readership and contributions (approximately 45% of articles published are from non-Japanese authors). The Editors continue their strong commitment to the sharing of scientific information for the benefit of children everywhere. Pediatrics International opens the door to all authors throughout the world. Manuscripts are judged by two experts solely upon the basis of their contribution of original data, original ideas and their presentation.
International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer
International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer serves as a world forum for the rapid dissemination of new ideas, new measurement techniques, preliminary findings of ongoing investigations, discussions, and criticisms in the field of heat and mass transfer. Two types of manuscript will be considered for publication: communications (short reports of new work or discussions of work which has already been published) and summaries (abstracts of reports, theses or manuscripts which are too long for publication in full). International Journal of Biological Macromolecules is an established international journal of research into chemical and biological aspects of all natural macromolecules. It presents the latest findings of studies on the molecular structure of proteins, macromolecular carbohydrates, lignins, biological poly-acids, and nucleic acids. The scope further includes biological activities and interactions, molecular associations, chemical and biological modifications, and functional properties as well as development of related model systems, structural including conformational studies, new analytical techniques, and relevant theoretical developments. All papers are required to focus primarily on at least one named biological macromolecule. The International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice is a refereed journal for high quality research and analysis in the areas of socio-legal studies and the psychology of law, criminology and social justice studies. The Journal invites papers based on empirical research, theoretical analysis and debate, and policy analysis and critique. Papers should be between 7000-10,000 words in length, although shorter papers relating to policy analysis and debate will be considered. International Journal of Surgery Case Reports is an open access, general surgical journal dedicated to publishing case reports. Case reports must be authentic, understandable, educational and clinically interesting to an international audience of surgeons, trainees and researchers in all surgical subspecialties, as well as clinicians in related fields. All case reports submitted are peer reviewed and if accepted for publication, authors are notified of this decision and requested to pay an Article Processing Fee of £250 (US$392.50, Euro 280, JP Yen 36,680) per article (exclusive of UK VAT at 20% which will be charged by Elsevier Ltd). Following payment of this fee, the article is made universally available to all on www.sciencedirect.com and www.casereports.com. The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) publishes two journals: Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (ET&C) and Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management (IEAM). This journal is a platform for the range of debates and issues that are current in our field. It is a broad field: we aim to provide perspectives at all levels, from the micro of specific applications or instances of use in classrooms to macro concerns of national policies and major projects: from classes of five year olds to adults in tertiary institutions: from teachers and administrators, to researchers and designers: from institutions to open, distance and lifelong learning. The strength of this breadth lies in the opportunity to raise and debate fundamental issues at all levels, to discuss specific instances and cases, draw inference and probe theory. This journal is embedded in the research and practice of professionals. It will not proselytise on behalf of the technologies but rather provoke debate on all the complex relationships between information and communication technologies and education.
As editors we are determined to maintain and expand the international standing of Education and Information Technologies by careful selection on merit of the papers submitted to us.
