Electronic Markets - The International Journal is a leading scientific journal for advancing the understanding and practice of electronic markets. Started in 1991, Electronic Markets was the first journal to report on developments and the latest trends related to the exciting and rapidly evolving research field of electronic markets and related issues and thus has been a pioneer in the field of scientific e-commerce research publication. Electronic Markets is a multidisciplinary journal whose audience includes: Scientists / scholars from various disciplines with an interest in the relationships between advances in information and communication technology, new forms of value creation, and social change Policy and decision-makers in government, industry and education Managers concerned with the effects of the electronic commerce revolution, organizations and society Electronic Markets embraces a rich array of electronic markets and networked business issues. Electronic Markets is a methodologically pluralistic journal. Quantitative and qualitative research methods are both welcome, as long as the studies are methodologically sound. Conceptual and theory-development papers, empirical hypothesis testing, and case-based studies are all welcome.

The European Journal of Higher Education (EJHE) aims to offer comprehensive coverage of theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of higher education, analyses of European and national higher education reforms and processes, and comparative studies of higher education within Europe (i.e. the European Higher Education Area) or elsewhere compared to Europe. Building on the successful legacy of its predecessor, Higher Education in Europe, EJHE is establishing itself as one of the flagship journals in the study of higher education and specifically in study of European higher education.
In addition to original articles, EJHE publishes a Debate Section and a Book Reviews Section. The Journal invites proposals for the Debate Section, which comprises two or three brief articles taking contrary or complementary standpoints on a common - topical or controversial - issue. The contributions are expected to be based on rigorous social science research, thus applying theoretical knowledge to a recent phenomenon and or providing fresh empirical support for their claims. The Journal also invites contributions to the Book Review Section, which is featured in each volume and welcomes suggestions for recently published books to be considered for review in EJHE. Proposals are invited also for special issues, which are featured in two special issue volumes every year.

European Orthopaedics and Traumatology is the official publication of EFORT, the umbrella organization of the European national orthopaedic associations. IIE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering, an official journal of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, publishes original high-quality papers on healthcare related topics of interest to researchers who want to remain current with cutting edge approaches to healthcare problems. The refereed journal aims to foster the healthcare systems community by publishing papers that have a strong methodological focus and direct applicability to healthcare systems. Published quarterly, the journal is composed of six departments: Healthcare Operations Management, Medical Decision Making, Socio-Technical Systems Analysis, Quality Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, and Healthcare Policy.    

IIE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering encourages research motivated by the challenging problems related to healthcare systems. The journal publishes papers that document the development and use of industrial and systems engineering tools and techniques including operations research, statistics, information systems, work measurement, and human factors/ergonomics applied to healthcare systems. The integration of these tools and techniques with those from other engineering and medical disciplines are also featured. Please note that the journal's title from January 2010 onwards will be The International Journal for Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering. The new Aims and Scope is effective immediately. International Journal for Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering is an international journal which publishes both full length and short refereed papers describing significant developments in numerical methods and their application to biomedical engineering problems. Contributions are encouraged in all areas of biomedical engineering, such as patient-specific modelling, biofluid and biosolid mechanics, tissue engineering, cardiovascular and respiratory mechanics, tumour modelling, medical imaging and image processing, visualisation, meshing, numerical modelling of organs, drug delivery, surgical simulation, micro- and nano- mechanics, multiscale problems, human body electromagnetics, molecular biology, medical device design, health care models and numerical methods specially designed for biomedical problems. Authors are reminded that application of a standard numerical procedure to a standard problem is not within the scope of this journal. Manuscripts that present solutions to realistic and new biomedical problems using standard numerical procedures should provide evidence of mesh convergence.

Although sport nutrition represents a distinct field of academic and applied work, it receives input from—and makes contributions to—such fields as nutrition, physiology, biochemistry, psychology, clinical medicine, and the sport and exercise sciences. Since its inception, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition provided a forum for those studying sport nutrition from a variety of perspectives. At the same time, exercise biochemists have been studying the metabolic responses and adaptations to physical activity, creating an overlap between the two areas of study. Recognizing the maturity and interdependence of these two scientific disciplines, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism (IJSNEM) was created.
