The European Business Organization Law Review (EBOR) is a leading European publication addressing all legal aspects of business organization. The journal serves as a platform for articles, case-notes and book reviews to stimulate scholarly debate and to reflect the speed of how developments in the field translate into substantive law. Relying on scholars and business people, lawyers, economists and other disciplines, and with an international editorial board, the journal looks at the whole range of problems relevant to business activities and the corresponding national, European Community and international legal rules. The journal will be of interest both to academia and practitioners in law and business, as well as political and social scientists.

The European Journal of Cell Biology, a journal of experimental cell investigation, publishes reviews, original articles and short communications on the structure, function and macromolecular organization of cells and cell components. Contributions focusing on cellular dynamics, motility and differentiation, particularly if related to cellular biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, neurobiology, and developmental biology are encouraged. Manuscripts describing significant technical advances are also welcome. In addition, papers dealing with biomedical issues of general interest to cell biologists will be published. Contributions addressing cell biological problems in prokaryotes and plants are also welcome.

EJCMID is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of communications on infectious diseases of bacterial, viral and parasitic origin. The journal welcomes full articles presenting original research results, invited editorials, and reviews on the following topics:General epidemiology and diagnostics of infectious agentsClinical infectious diseases researchGenetics and phenotypes of host susceptibility towards infectious disease or colonizationUse of animal models to study bacterial infections and the imaging of such infections

Studies should primarily be performed from a mechanistic point of view with emphasis on the inter-relatedness of molecular features with clinical presentation of infections. Papers on the translational application of basic research findings will be prioritized.

The European Journal of Clinical Pharmacology publishes original papers, short communications, and letters to the editors on all aspects of clinical pharmacology and drug therapy in humans. Coverage includes therapeutic trials; pharmacokinetics; drug metabolism; adverse drug reactions; drug interactions; all aspects of drug development; prescribing policies; pharmacoepidemiology; and matters relating to the safe use of drugs. Data from animal experiments are published only in the context of parallel experiments in man reported in the same paper. The journal also publishes review articles on special problems related to these areas, and encourages debate on controversial issues.

The European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention (EJEEP) is a peer-reviewed journal which serves as a forum for studies in macroeconomic theory, economic institutions and economic policies. The managing editors aim for productive debates involving one or more variants of heterodox economics, and invite contributions acknowledging the pluralism of research approaches. The submission of both theoretical and empirical work is encouraged. The managing editors contend that a wide variety of institutional and social factors shape economic life and economic processes. Only a careful study and integration of such factors into economics will lead to theoretical progress and to competent economic policy recommendations. This was clearly demonstrated by the inadequacy of orthodox economics, based on neoclassical foundations, to provide suitable explanations and responses to recent financial and economic crises.

European Journal of Endocrinology (EJE) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes 12 issues per year in print and in online formats. Some papers in EJE may have associated charges. Please refer to the Charges section below. Once a paper is accepted, EJE will publish a precopyedited, preproofed version of the paper online within 48 hours of receiving a signed licence. This is replaced by a copyedited, proofed version of the paper as soon as it is ready. Please read these instructions carefully and follow them closely. The European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research monitors crime trends in today’s enlarged Europe and beyond. The focus of its peer-reviewed coverage is on understanding crime in different geographical and socio-economic contexts, on presenting innovative crime prevention policies and practices, and on following legislative and institutional change. Discussion includes the trade-off between security and rights and ways to optimize the effectiveness of criminal justice systems with respect to human and civil rights. Recognizing that criminal justice systems are not the only method for dealing with crime, the journal also devotes attention to alternative policies and practices. Peer Review

Hawwa publishes articles from all disciplinary and comparative perspectives that concern women and gender issues in the Middle East and the Islamic world. These include Muslim and non-Muslim communities within the greater Middle East, and Muslim and Middle-Eastern communities elsewhere in the world. Articles dealing with men, masculinity, children and the family, or other issues of gender shall also be considered. The journal strives to include significant studies of theory and methodology as well as topical matter. Approximately one third of the submissions focus on the pre-modern era, with the majority of articles on the contemporary age. The journal features several full-length articles and current book reviews.
