The purpose of this journal is to promote the integration of theories, methods, and research in human physiology. The journal publishes original studies on brain function and its disturbances, including neural mechanisms subserving perception, learning, memory, emotion, and language. Human Physiology provides a forum for many physiological areas, such as respiration, circulation, the blood system, motor functions, and digestion, as well as sport and occupational physiology. All kinds of papers on environmental physiology, including adaptation to extreme (polar zone, desert) and new (space) external conditions, are encouraged. Each year, from one to three numbers of the journal are dedicated to the broad consideration of a selected problem (e.g., mechanisms of adaptation to natural factors or development of the brain functions of children). The Editorial Board is highly interested in the cooperation of scientists from all countries and accepts manuscripts submitted in English.

Human Studies is a quarterly journal dedicated primarily to advancing the dialogue between philosophy and the human sciences. Coverage addresses the logic of inquiry, methodology, epistemology and foundational issues in the human sciences exemplified by original empirical, theoretical and philosophical investigations. Phenomenological perspectives, broadly defined, are a primary focus. The journal benefits scholars in a variety of fields who seek a forum addressing these issues, in order to bridge the gap between philosophy and the human sciences. The wide-ranging coverage includes contributions from sociology, psychology, anthropology, history, geography, linguistics, semiotics, communication studies, ethnomethodology, political science, and philosophy. Human Studies is the official journal of the Society for Phenomenology and the Human Sciences.

REVISTA IBEROAMERICANA DE MICOLOGÍA (IberoAmerican Journal of Mycology), the official journal of the Spanish, Venezuelan and Argentinean Mycology Associations (Asociación Española de Micología, Asociación Venezolana de Micología and Asociación Argentina de Micología), considers for publication, original articles, reviews, Mycology Forum, editorials, special articles, notes, and letters to the editor. All scientific contributions will be subject to an external anonymous peer review process. The IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Information Theory (JSAIT) publishes high quality technical papers on all aspects of Information Theory. It is a multi-disciplinary journal of special issues (SIs) focusing on the intersections of information theory with fields such as machine learning, statistics, genomics, neuroscience, theoretical computer science, and physics. Many fields lean heavily on the fundamentals of information theory, including concepts such as information entropy, compression, coding and decoding, mutual information, divergence, capacity, and rate distortion theory. There will also be special issues for hot topics firmly within information theory, such as new types of codes, short-packet communication, advances in multi-terminal information theory, quantum information theory, information theoretic security, and other emerging topics.

Articles must be authentic, educational, clinically relevant, and original in their content and scientific approach.

The journal is devoted to all aspects of the mobility, reaction chemistry, and behavior of ions in a supporting gaseous atmosphere and in an electrical field. Articles span a broad range of research and arenas, e.g. laboratory studies of biomolecules at comparatively low pressure, instrumentation for field and process monitoring, and measurements of samples with relevance to industry, the environment, medicine, and security. The published papers cover theoretical and experimental findings from fundamental and applied studies including topics on chemistry, physics, geology, life sciences, and engineering associated with the measurement of ion mobility. In addition, papers and technical notes on novel instrument design, related new applications, and their validation are welcome. The journal is the official publication of the International Society of Ion Mobility Spectrometry. The International Journal of Clinical Oncology (IJCO) welcomes original research papers on all aspects of clinical oncology that report the results of novel and timely investigations. Reports on clinical trials are encouraged. Experimental studies will also be accepted if they have obvious relevance to clinical oncology. Membership in the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology is not a prerequisite for submission to the journal. Papers are received on the understanding that: their contents have not been published in whole or in part elsewhere; that they are subject to peer review by at least two referees and the Editors, and to editorial revision of the language and contents; and that the Editors are responsible for their acceptance, rejection, and order of publication.

The International Journal of Electrical Engineering Education's origins date back to 1948, when the world’s first stored-programme digital computer ran at the University of Manchester. In 1963, the Bulletin of Electrical Engineering Education evolved into the International Journal of Electrical Engineering Education (IJEEE).Today, IJEEE provides a showcase for international developments in the undergraduate teaching of electrical engineering and electronics, from power systems to nanotechnology.Illustrated articles and occasional book reviews highlight current topics from a teaching perspective. International Journal of Fatigue covers the full range of scientific and technological issues associated with fatigue. The scope of the journal includes the spectrum of characterization, testing, and modeling of degradation processes under cyclic loading, commonly referred to as fatigue. The International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics deals with the problems of financing a health care system and financing’s impact on health care performance. It examines why people choose alternative arrangements, either in markets or through the political process. The International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction addresses the cognitive, social, health, and ergonomic aspects of interactive computing. It emphasizes the human element in relation to the systems in which humans function, operate, network, and communicate, including software, hardware, and their various contexts of use. The journal publishes original articles including reviews and reappraisals of the literature, empirical studies, and quantitative and qualitative contributions to the theories of HCI. The International Journal of Humanoid Robotics (IJHR) covers all subjects on the mind and body of humanoid robots. It is dedicated to advancing new theories, new techniques, and new implementations contributing to the successful achievement of future robots which not only imitate human beings, but also serve human beings. While IJHR encourages the contribution of original papers which are solidly grounded on proven theories or experimental procedures, the journal also encourages the contribution of innovative papers which venture into the new, frontier areas in robotics. Such papers need not necessarily demonstrate, in the early stages of research and development, the full potential of new findings on a physical or virtual robot.
