Innate Immunity

ISSN: 1753-4259eISSN: 1753-4267
DOAJ Logo

Innate Immunity is a highly ranked, peer reviewed scholarly journal, first published as Journal of Endotoxin Research (JER) in 1994 as the official journal of the International Endotoxin Society (IES). Over 10 years of being known as the IES, the society recognised a significant increase in research in innate immunity not related to endotoxins. In response to this the society became the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society (IEIIS) in 2005.The journal’s coverage has changed in line with the society, and it increasingly publishes articles dealing with innate immunity research not related to endotoxins. A joint decision was made between the publisher and the IEIIS to re-launch the journal in 2008 with the new name Innate Immunity, to reflect the broader range of coverage of the society and in the journal.Publication Charge from July 2010:Innate Immunity has seen a large increase in the number of submitted manuscripts in recent years. In order to publish this important research in a timely manner we will be increasing by 33% the number of pages in each volume. After consultation with the Editorial Board and recent authors, we will cover the increased cost of production by introducing a charge of $230 for all accepted papers. The subscription price will remain at its current level in 2010.IEIIS President Alan Cross adds, "The International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society supports the move to introduce publication fees for Innate Immunity. This change will enable the journal to publish more high quality articles every year, and reduce the publication times for important new research"In rare cases of genuine financial hardship, exemptions may be made at the discretion of the publisher. Mediterranean Politics

ISSN: 1362-9395eISSN: 1743-9418

Mediterranean Politics is the only refereed academic journal to focus on the politics, international relations and political economy of the entire Mediterranean area - 'Mediterranean' here being understood to refer to all those countries whose borders are defined partially or wholly by the Mediterranean Sea. This focus involves consideration not only of the region itself, but also the significance of developments there for other parts of the world. The journal analyses the central issues that concern Mediterranean countries and assesses both local and international responses to them. While its prime concern is with political developments, the focus of Mediterranean Politics extends to all the factors and dimensions affecting political life. These include social movements and issues, regional and domestic conflicts, the political economy of the Mediterranean, migration, political reform processes and issues of cultural identity. The journal does not accept articles on historical subjects that lack direct contemporary linkage, or general economics articles with a Mediterranean context. Since its inception, the journal has given extensive attention to the expanding relationships between Europe and its southern neighbours, including the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, European Neighbourhood Policy and Union for the Mediterranean. Equally, we welcome contributions on interactions between the Mediterranean and other parts of the world. The articles are based on original research, some focused on individual states, others on relationships between them, the role of multilateral organizations in the area or issues that are relevant to the area or sub-areas as a whole or to several countries studied comparatively. Besides research articles, the journal publishes a regular Profile section devoted to briefer analysis of recent events or developments, and a substantial book review section, usually containing a review article. While some issues are general ones with varied contents, others are special collections. For more information on special collections and on the Journal's current thematic priorities, please visit Mediterranean Politics Online, at: www.mediterranean-politics.com.

Journal of Magnetic Resonance

ISSN: 1090-7807eISSN: 1096-0856

The Journal of Magnetic Resonance presents original technical and scientific papers in all aspects of magnetic resonance, including nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) of solids and liquids, electron spin/paramagnetic resonance (EPR), in vivomagnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy (MRS), nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) and magnetic resonance phenomena at nearly zero fields or in combination with optics. The Journal's main aims include deepening the physical principles underlying all these spectroscopies, publishing significant theoretical and experimental results leading to spectral and spatial progress in these areas, and opening new MR-based applications in chemistry, biology and medicine. The Journal also seeks descriptions of novel apparatuses, new experimental protocols, and new procedures of data analysis and interpretation - including computational and quantum-mechanical methods - capable of advancing MR spectroscopy and imaging. With a solid track record spanning over four decades, the Journal of Magnetic Resonance is known for introducing high-quality, breakthrough articles. These have been seminal to the current state-of-the-art achieved by NMR, ESR, MRI and NQR, and it is a tradition we aim to preserve and enlarge. The Journal's readership spans the full range of disciplines impacted by magnetic resonance, including experts interested in magnetic resonance within the context of physics, engineering, materials sciences, chemistry, biophysics, structural biology, in vivo biochemistry, biology, preclinical analyses, and human imaging.Emphasis is placed on expanding the basic principles and techniques underlying this branch of spectroscopy, as well as on state-of-the-art applications of novel MR experiments to all the research areas of interest to our constituency. Manuscripts that only make routine use of well-established techniques or minor spectroscopic contributions, are not appropriate for the Journal.
