The journal Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering is an international peer-reviewed forum for discussion between engineering and biological science to find efficient solutions in the development and improvement of bioprocesses. The journal focuses attention on multidisciplinary approaches for integrative bioprocess design. Coverage includes rational manipulation of biosystems through metabolic engineering techniques to provide new biocatalysts. The journal examines model-based design of bioprocesses, such as up-stream processing, bioreactor operation and downstream processing, leading to new and sustainable production processes. The journal offers new approaches for design of cellular systems, taking into account the environment and constraints of technical production processes, integration of recombinant technology and process design, as well as bioinformatics and process systems engineering. The journal publishes original papers, short communications and invited reviews.

The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is an international peer reviewed journal that covers a wide-range of research on fundamental and applied aspects of microbiology.

The journal considers for publication original research articles, short communications, reviews, and letters to the editor, that may be submitted to the following sections:  Biotechnology and Industrial Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Bacterial and Fungal Pathogenesis, Clinical Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Veterinary Microbiology, Fungal and Bacterial Physiology, Bacterial, Fungal and Virus Molecular Biology, Education in Microbiology. Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science is a bimonthly publication of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia of the Universidade de São Paulo, that publishes full papers, short communications and review articles concerned with veterinary medicine, zootechny and related fields.The journal has experienced many changes since its conception in 1938 as the "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da USP". The title was adjusted in 1972 to "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da USP", before assuming its present name in 1990. The journal's periodicity has also changed over the years to accommodate an increase in the number of papers submitted. Originally an annual journal, Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science gradually matured into a biannual, then quartely publication, and now is released twice a month.Its abbreviated title is Braz. J. Vet. Res. Anim. Sci., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, and bibliographical references and strips.

The Central European Journal of Operations Research is the official journal of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Operations Research. Geografisk Tidsskrift - Danish Journal of Geography ( GT-DJG ) is an interdisciplinary, international journal that publishes peer reviewed research articles on all aspects of geography. Coverage includes such topics as human geography, physical geography, human-environment interactions, Earth Observation, and Geographical Information Science. GT-DJG also welcomes articles which address geographical perspectives of e.g. environmental studies, development studies, planning, landscape ecology and sustainability science.In addition to full-length papers, GT-DJG publishes research notes. The journal has two annual issues. Authors from all parts of the world working within geography or related fields are invited to publish their research in the journal.

Metabarcoding and Metagenomics (MBMG) is an innovative open access online journal which publishes papers on metabarcoding and metagenomics from both basic and applied aspects. The journal welcomes submissions documenting all types of outcomes throughout the research cycle: data, models, methods, workflows, software, perspectives, opinions, and conventional research articles. The journal will consider manuscripts for publication related (but not limited) to the following topics: Environmental MBMG, Microbial MBMG, Applied MBMG (biomonitoring, quarantine, environmental assessment, nature conservation, eDNA, species invasions and others), molecular ecology, DNA-based species delimitation and identification, and other emerging fields related to MBMG. Submissions of bioinformatic approaches to MBMG (algorithms, software) are also encouraged.

MBMG is published on the ARPHA journal publishing platform, which is the first workflow ever to support the full life cycle of a manuscript, from writing through submission, peer review, publication and dissemination within a single online collaborative platform.

Neurological Sciences is intended to provide a medium for the communication of results and ideas in the field of neuroscience. The journal welcomes contributions in both the basic and clinical aspects of the neurosciences. The official language of the journal is English. Nuclear Technology & Radiation Protection is an international scientific journal covering the wide range of disciplines involved in nuclear science and technology as well as in the field of radiation protection. Cell Press has been chosen by The American Society of Human Genetics to publish its premier monthly journal from January 2008. The American Journal of Human Genetics (AJHG) is an exciting new venture for Cell Press as its first society-owned journal.
