The International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis publishes only original research and clinical papers dealing with hypnosis and psychology, psychiatry, the medical and mental specialities, and allied areas of science. Submissions include clinical and experimental studies, discussions of theory, significant historical and cultural material, and questions for inclusion in the Clinical Forum. It is the purpose of this Journal to present in an integrated manner the best research in scientific hypnosis and to encourage and support continued inquiry. The journal publishes articles on research investigations that enhance understanding of psychopathology and mental disorders applicable to all ages, deviant or abnormal behaviors, including those related to medical conditions and trauma, and constructs descriptive of personality. It fosters inquiry into assessment, description, and classification of normal and abnormal behaviors, psychobiological factors predisposing, precipitating, and maintaining psychopathology, and theories of psychopathology and behavior change. Coverage spans studies of normal personality constructs and positive personal attributes, personal and environmental factors influencing behavioral outcomes, and interactive models of cognitive, emotional, and behavior resource factors as impacting normal and abnormal behaviors. The journal includes articles focusing on therapeutic interventions and accepts reviews, particurlary meta-analytic reviews.

The journal is directed to different stakeholders and professionals, including government and non-governmental organizations, international funding agencies, universities, public water institutions, public health and other public/private sector professionals, and other relevant institutions. It is aimed at professionals, academics and students in the fields of disciplines such as: groundwater and its connection to surface hydrology and environment, soil sciences, engineering, ecology, microbiology, atmospheric sciences, analytical chemistry, hydro-engineering, water technology, environmental ethics, economics, public health, policy, as well as social sciences, legal disciplines, or any other area connected with water issues.

The objectives of this journal are to facilitate:
• The improvement of effective and sustainable management of water resources across the globe.
• The improvement of human access to groundwater resources in adequate quantity and good quality.
• The meeting of the increasing demand for drinking water, and irrigation water needed for food security to contribute to a social and economically sound human development.
• The creation of a global inter- and multidisciplinary platform and forum to improve our understanding of groundwater resources and to advocate their effective and sustainable management and protection against contamination.
• Interdisciplinary information exchange and to stimulate scientific research in the fields of groundwater related sciences and social and health sciences required to achieve the United Nations Millennium Development Goals for sustainable development.

This journal should become the international forum for groundwater research oriented to the direct solution of problems of great social impact rather than only breakthrough research in physical and chemical issues.

Preventive Veterinary Medicine is one of the leading international resources for scientific reports on animal health programs and preventive veterinary medicine. The journal follows the guidelines for standardizing and strengthening the reporting of biomedical research which are available from the CONSORT, MOOSE, PRISMA, REFLECT, STARD, and STROBE statements. The journal focuses on:Epidemiology of health events relevant to domestic and wild animals;Economic impacts of epidemic and endemic animal and zoonotic diseases;Latest methods and approaches in veterinary epidemiology;Disease and infection control or eradication measures;The "One Health" concept and the relationships between veterinary medicine, human health, animal-production systems, and the environment;Development of new techniques in surveillance systems and diagnosis;Evaluation and control of diseases in animal populations.The journal encourages the submission of clinical and field-trial studies, particularly those related to new vaccines and other preventive measures. These studies, however, should follow the Consort Statement (http://www.consort-statement.org) or Reflect Statement (http://reflect-statement.org).Prevalence studies may be considered for publication, but only if the results are likely to be of international interest (i.e. it must be possible to generalize the findings using scientifically based approaches). For these studies, key considerations in the review process will include (but are not limited to): consideration of both animal-level and herd-level demographics in the sampling design; the study population's relevance to the authors' described target population; the potential for confounding; and how well the sample-size justification assures high precision.
