Cognitive Neuropsychiatry seeks to promote the study of cognitive processes underlying psychological and behavioural abnormalities, including psychotic symptoms, with and without organic brain disease. The journal publishes high quality empirical and theoretical papers (original papers, short reports, case studies and reviews) in fields of clinical and cognitive neuropsychiatry and which have a bearing on the understanding of normal cognitive processes. Relevant research from cognitive neuroscience, cognitive neuropsychology and clinical populations will also be considered. Critical Military Studies

Aims & Scope

Critical Military Studies provides a rigorous, innovative platform for interdisciplinary debate on the operation of military power. It encourages the interrogation and destabilization of often taken-for-granted categories related to the military, militarism and militarization. It especially welcomes original thinking on contradictions and tensions central to the ways in which military institutions and military power work, how such tensions are reproduced within different societies and geopolitical arenas, and within and beyond academic discourse. Contributions on experiences of militarization among groups and individuals, and in hitherto underexplored, perhaps even seemingly ‘non-military’ settings are also encouraged. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to double-blind peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. The Journal also includes a non-peer reviewed section, Encounters, showcasing multidisciplinary forms of critique such as film and photography, and engaging with policy debates and activism.

Current Opinion in Behavioral Sciences is a systematic, integrative review journal that provides a unique and educational platform for updates on the expanding volume of information published in the field of behavioral sciences. The journal will help the community by providing:

The aim of this Series is to highlight the latest international findings and advances in plant pathology and plant disease management, and plant pathology topic specialist, Congress and Workshop organisers, coordinators of broad International projects are invited to consult with the Series Editor regarding their topic’s potential inclusion in the series. 

Under an agreement with Springer, a Book Series based on the invited lectures at the 9th International Congress of Plant Pathology ICPP2008, Plant Pathology in the 21^st Century was initiated and four books covering key themes were published. Following on the procedure for the 2008 Congress, three additional volumes in the series were published on themes which were key topics at ICPP2013, held in Beijing, China, while two new books are almost ready from ICPP 2018 held in Boston (SA). Moreover, more books were published in between Congresses, covering up-to-date topics in plant pathology. In light of the initial seven volumes’ success, the ISPP has now concluded an agreement with Springer to broaden the scope of the Series and publish additional volumes.

Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy (RSAP) publishes bi-monthly/six times per year, featuring original scientific reports and comprehensive review articles in the social and administrative pharmaceutical sciences. Topics of interest include outcomes evaluation of products, programs, or services; pharmacoepidemiology; medication adherence; direct-to-consumer advertising of prescription medications; disease state management; health systems reform; drug marketing; medication distribution systems such as e-prescribing; web-based pharmaceutical/medical services; drug commerce and re-importation; and health professions workforce issues.RSAP strives to become a widely recognized venue for publishing articles that proffer new models to guide existing research, make methodological arguments, or otherwise describe the results of rigorous theory-building research. Studies in Family Planning is a peer-reviewed, international journal publishing public health, social science, and biomedical research on sexual and reproductive health, fertility, and family planning, with a primary focus on developing countries. Each issue contains original research articles, reports, commentaries, data papers, and book reviews. Studies in Family Planning is published quarterly.

The journal has a two-tiered review process. Preliminary review is the initial screening that each manuscript undergoes to assess appropriateness of topic and treatment, its accessibility and interest to our readership, and its contribution to the journal's overall diversity and balance. The paper is read by members of the Editorial Committee and discussed at a monthly meeting. If a paper does not pass preliminary review, the author receives early notification—though without detailed comments—and is able to submit it to another journal without undue loss of time. Papers that pass preliminary review are sent out to two or more referees. Authors of articles sent out for peer review can expect written comments and a decision about their paper approximately three months after submission. Submissions should be not under consideration elsewhere when submitting to Studies.

The Journal of Pain publishes original articles related to all aspects of pain, including clinical and basic research, patient care, education, and health policy. Articles selected for publication in the Journal are most commonly reports of original clinical research or reports of original basic research. In addition, invited critical reviews, including meta analyses of drugs for pain management, invited commentaries on reviews, and exceptional case studies are published in the Journal.
