Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA (English edition, ISSN 1000-1948) is founded in 1986 and published bimonthly. It is cosponsored by the four military medical universities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. All of the four universities enjoy high reputation in medical science. The editorial office is in the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai.Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA publishes the most recent medical achievements of the four medical universities of the PLA and papers from aboard and all over the country in china. It mainly reports on basic medicine, clinical medicine, public health and epidemiology, military medicine, pharmacology and Traditional Chinese Medicine. And now it has readers in North America, Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.Each paper in the journal is peer-reviewed. And the originality, scientific merits, validity and practicability of each contribution will be discussed periodically at our Editorial Board meeting to decide if the paper can be published. And many published articles are sponsored by various kinds of national projects or key programs and foundations.Four academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) or Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) are the chief editors of the journal. Sensors & Diagnostics is a gold open access journal focused on high-impact, innovative sensing work. Trials in Vaccinology is a new peer-reviewed online-only journal that will guarantee direct public access to the results of vaccine trials in humans and target animals, especially those of whose scientific novelty is not exceptional, and thus increase the transparency of current supportive scientific research in the field of vaccines. Water is at the heart of human civilization. Throughout history, societies have progressed by improving access to clean water for drinking, for sanitation and for agriculture, and by removing contaminants from water to reduce the effects on the environment and improve public health. Our modern society faces new challenges that require innovative approaches to our relationship with water: climate change affects water systems by increasing droughts and floods, which in turn reduce water availability, increase contamination of water resources and eventually affect both drinking and sanitation facilities; and the rising global population generates more stress on water resources and challenges for public health. 
Publishing monthly, Nature Water covers all aspects of research that are connected to this evolving relationship between society and water resources. We publish in the natural sciences (primarily Earth and environmental science), in engineering (including environmental, civil, chemical and materials engineering), and in the social sciences (economics, human geography and sociology, among other disciplines), with a particular interest in regards to interdisciplinary research. Fluids and Barriers of the CNS is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that considers manuscripts on all CNS fluids and barrier systems in health and disease. Title changed from Cerebrospinal Fluid Research on 1/1/2011.

Genes & Immunity emphasizes studies that demonstrate genetic, genomic or functional variation in the immune system, and assist our understanding of how the basic control over the immune system varies between individuals both in health and disease. The emerging role for genes outside the MHC will be of particular interest.

Learning Disability Quarterly (LDQ) publishes high-quality research and scholarship concerning children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities. Consistent with that purpose, the journal seeks to publish articles with the potential to impact and improve educational outcomes, opportunities, and services.
